SCC: Calculated Defense 1.0.0

Minecraft 26.1.2 · NeoForge 26.1.2+ · requires SCC – Super Cool Calculator 1.5.0+

First release. An add-on for SCC: base defense powered by your SCC network.

Features

  • Bastion Calculator – the control station on your SCC cable. It claims a protected zone (radius 16 to 96 blocks by tier) and powers every defense block inside it from the network – towers need no cable of their own. Look at it to see the glowing zone border. Upgraded with the normal SCC tier upgrades.
  • Holo radar – the Bastion window shows the zone from above with a sweeping radar: hostile mobs red, neutral yellow, players and allies blue, towers in their tier colour with their range. Click a dot or a tower for details.
  • Combat log – what was defeated when and where, by which tower, which loot went into storage, and the energy used per tower.
  • Alarm – sound, action bar message and a redstone signal at the Bastion when hostile mobs enter the zone; each part can be switched off.
  • Star Towers – a floating crystal over a pedestal that turns towards its target. One weapon per tier: Star Beam (Basic), Ember Laser (Red Dwarf, sets on fire), Solar Flash (Yellow Star, cone salvo, blinds, double damage to the undead), Plasma Arc (Blue Giant, chain lightning to 4 enemies), Gravity Well (Neutron Star, pulls together, holds for 3 s, keeps creepers away) and Event Horizon (Singularity, a tiny black hole). Shots are pure light – no projectile entities, throttled target search, no lag.
  • Special ammunition – every shot is paid with FE; optionally fire (Blaze Powder), frost (Packed Ice) or stardust (Star Shard) ammunition that the tower pulls from SCC storage by itself.
  • Loot into storage – mobs defeated by towers drop their loot as if a player defeated them, straight into the SCC storage of the Bastion. Experience goes into the network as fluid when an experience fluid exists (c:experience), otherwise the Bastion keeps it for you.
  • Specimen Cores (with SCC: Calculated Mobs) – when both mods are installed, every Star Tower gets a core slot in its window. Kills of the tower on the core's mob count as hunting knowledge for the tower owner (like own kills); the window shows the mob, the knowledge stage and the progress ("Studying: Zombie – Yellow Star 64 %"). Click the empty slot to take a core from SCC storage. No hard dependency, bosses never count.
  • Tower upgrades – Range Lens, Pulse Capacitor (fire rate), Plunder Prism (Looting up to III) and Flux Condenser (efficiency), up to 4 per tower, forged in the SCC Star Forge.
  • Target cards – hostile only, hostile + neutral, or your own mob list (whitelist or blacklist). Players, named mobs, pets, villagers and golems are never targets.
  • Star Shield – a hexagonal energy dome over the whole zone: stops arrows, fireballs and other mob projectiles and prevents block damage from creeper and ghast explosions. Every stopped hit flashes on the dome and costs FE; when the buffer runs dry the dome flickers and falls.
  • Star Ward – prevents natural hostile spawns in its radius. Mob spawners keep working.
  • Light Fence – two posts in a line link up into a glowing barrier three blocks high: hostile mobs bounce off and climbing mobs such as spiders slide down instead of climbing over; players, pets and villagers walk through.
  • Gravity Mine – a flat plate that launches hostile mobs high into the air.
  • Raids and waves – during a pillager raid or a mod invasion the towers switch to overload mode (double fire rate at double energy cost); the radar shows the wave.
  • Fair play – towers never attack players (no PvP); bosses (Wither, Ender Dragon, c:bosses, mod bosses) are off limits unless the server allows it; FTB Chunks claims of other teams are respected and FTB Teams members may use your defense blocks (both optional).
  • Look and feel – Star Forge style blocks in the tier colours, additive glow effects, 3D items, windows in every SCC design (F7), quiet layered sounds, a JEI category with info pages and its own chapter in the SCC guide. English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.
  • Configurable – every effect can be switched off in scc_defense-server.toml; ranges, damage, cooldowns, energy costs, radii and ammunition lists are all adjustable.
