Description
Scarecrow Golem

A straw-stuffed farming companion that harvests, replants, and delivers your crops.
Build a Scarecrow Golem the same way you’d build an Iron Golem: a T-shape of Hay Blocks with a Carved Pumpkin on top. Once alive, it gets to work, searching for fully grown crops, harvesting them, replanting, and stacking up as many as it can carry before delivering everything to a nearby Straw Chest.
Behavior:
Harvesting-
The golem searches for mature crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot), breaks them, replants using one seed from the drop, and holds the harvested item. It continues harvesting the same crop type until its hand is full or it can't find any more of that crop, then heads for a chest.
Straw Chest-

A new chest block crafted from Hay Blocks. The golem delivers its harvested crops and any extra seeds it collected along the way. Supports double chests. If a chest is full, the golem remembers it and tries the next one.
Decay-

Like the Copper Golem’s oxidation, a Scarecrow Golem slowly rots over time. Four stages of decay over several in-game days, slowing down as it deteriorates, until it eventually freezes in place, covered in mold and swarming with flies. Rain accelerates the decay; a roof protects against it. Feed it a Hay Block at any stage to fully restore it.
How it works:
- Build — Place Hay Blocks in a T-shape, top with a Carved Pumpkin.
- Craft — Make a Straw Chest from Hay Blocks for crop storage.
- Harvest — The golem finds ripe crops, picks them, and replants.
- Deliver — Once full, it walks to a Straw Chest and deposits everything.
- Maintain — Feed it a Hay Block before it rots and freezes!
