Step through a green magical portal into a dimension filled with translucent forests, shimmering waters, spiritual wildlife and rideable dragons.

Explore natural land below and floating islands above, discover eight colorful biomes and build a home using materials found throughout the realm.

🌍 Explore the ground and the skies

Version 1.0.9 combines continuous ground terrain with floating islands.

• 🌾 Open plains and rolling landscapes.
• 🌳 Dense spiritual forests.
• 🏜️ Colorful sandy deserts and beaches.
• 🌊 Lakes, rivers, oceans and coral gardens.
• 🏝️ Floating islands of different sizes, shapes and elevations.
• 💧 Waterfalls and suspended water features.
• ⛏️ Underground stone layers, gravel and winding caves.

Floating terrain generates below Y=800, while player building is supported through Y=1000.

🌈 Eight magical biomes

Every biome has its own visual identity, matching vegetation, building materials, food, water and spirit dragon.

🌳 Glowing trees and translucent plants

The realm’s vegetation has a magical, jelly-like appearance.

• Short, medium and tall trees.
• Translucent slime-style canopy blocks.
• Hanging droplets beneath branches.
• Biome-colored grass, ferns, flowers and other plants.
• Hanging vines along floating terrain.
• Harvestable flowers that provide matching biome fruit and regrow.

Natural spirit trees can fall when chopped, knocking down neighboring spirit trees and dropping logs, canopy loot and biome fruit.

🧱 Build with the colors of the realm

Each biome provides a coordinated collection of materials:

• Grass, dirt, coarse dirt and dirt paths.
• Stone, cobblestone and gravel.
• Colored sand.
• Logs and wood.
• Planks, stairs and slabs.
• Fences and fence gates.
• Borderless glass blocks and panes.

Smelt biome sand into matching glass and create windows without heavy square texture borders.

💧 Spiritual waters and fishing

Discover colorful waters that match their surroundings.

• Swim and travel by boat.
• Fish for biome-colored Slime Salmon.
• Capture live salmon using a water-filled bucket.
• Collect the different spirit waters in buckets.
• Keep their distinct colors when placing them elsewhere.

Spirit water is designed for safe swimming without drowning damage.

🌦️ Magical skies and weather

Enjoy cloudy daytime skies and a nighttime backdrop of stars, nebulae, planets and galaxies.

Special biomes add their own weather effects:

• 🩸 Blood Moon: red rain and drifting red ash.
• 🌈 Rainbow: multicolored rain.
• 🌌 Cosmic: bright cyan-white rain.

Blood Moon ash is decorative and does not damage players or cover the ground.

🐾 Spiritual animal companions

Meet translucent animals with glossy coloring, glowing details and small colored sparkles.

Land animals include:

Tame herbivores and other friendly animals with matching biome fruit. Predators such as wolves, foxes, cats and bears accept matching spiritual meat or Slime Salmon.

📈 Raise and level your animals

Tamed land animals have their own progression.

• Earn their own experience.
• Upgrade them to level 100.
• Increase health and attack damage.
• Improve passive resource production.
• Increase spiritual-meat drops.
• Keep saved ownership, levels and experience.

Larger companions—cows, sheep, pigs, horses, goats and bears—offer 100 cargo slots and saddle-free ground riding.

Smaller animals have companion and leveling menus without mounting or cargo storage.

🐒 Watch out for mischievous monkeys

An unarmored Survival player may have an item stolen by a nearby monkey!

• Wearing any armor prevents theft.
• Feed the thief matching fruit to recover its item.
• Defeating it also drops the stolen item.

🐋 Life above the islands

The skies contain spiritual versions of aquatic creatures, including flying whales, sharks, dolphins, salmon, sturgeon, turtles, squid and jellyfish.

These creatures roam the realm naturally. They do not require hologram projectors.

⚔️ Hostile encounters

The world also contains spirit zombies, skeletons and creepers, while wild wolves and bears can threaten travelers.

Spirit zombies and skeletons do not burn in daylight.

Flying creatures, fish and hostile humanoid monsters are not part of the land-animal taming system.

🐉 Find your own spirit dragon

Discover eight dragon types, one for each biome.

• Tame them using their matching biome fruit or Slime Salmon.
• Heal them with the same food.
• Breed healthy, tamed adults of the same color.
• Ride adult dragons without a saddle.
• Rename your dragon.
• Display its name, overall level and owner above it.

Dragons feature animated wings, tails and jaws, with translucent spiritual appearances and color-matched flame breath.

🎮 Dragon riding controls

• Movement keys + mouse: steer and fly.
• Look upward while moving forward: climb.
• Look downward while moving forward: descend.
• Release movement: hover.
• Jump: dismount.
• Hold E: use flame breath.
• Press F: descend and land.

Flame-breath and landing keys can be changed in Minecraft’s controls.

Dragon breath targets hostile monsters without setting blocks on fire or destroying terrain.

📊 Choose your dragon’s upgrades

Spend the dragon’s own experience on three separate stats:

• 🪽 Speed: movement and flight acceleration.
• ⬆️ Climb/Jump: climbing response and jump power.
• 🔥 Strength: flame-breath damage and reach.

Each stat reaches level 100. Every stat upgrade contributes to the dragon’s overall level, allowing a fully upgraded dragon to reach overall level 298.

Dragons earn experience through flame-breath damage, monster kills and occasional feeding.

🎒 Expandable dragon storage

Your dragon’s inventory grows with its overall level.

• Starts with 100 slots.
• Expands to 1,000 slots at maximum overall level.
• Scrollable storage interface.
• Owner-only access to storage, renaming and upgrades.
• Name, stats, experience and cargo remain saved.

Stored items drop if the dragon dies.

🏘️ Villages and structures

Explore suitable vanilla Minecraft structures, including villages and mineshafts.

Village wooden materials adapt to the local biome’s spirit wood, and biome-colored paths help settlements fit their surroundings.

Structures from other mods are excluded from this dimension’s new generation so they do not overwhelm its landscapes.

🟢 How to enter Saura’s World

1. Build a complete, vertical rectangular frame using slime blocks.

2. Leave the inside empty.

3. Use flint and steel on the inside edge.

4. Step through the glowing green floral portal.

You can also use the decorative Spirit Frame block.

Portals support different rectangular sizes within configurable server limits. A safe arrival area and return portal help you travel between dimensions.

🛏️ Living in the realm

• Beds work in the dimension.
• Establish homes and farms.
• Raise spiritual animals.
• Explore on foot, by boat or on a dragon.
• Access the mod’s blocks, items and spawn eggs through its Creative tab.

💎 Optional Fantasy Ore integration

Install the compatible Fantasy Ore mod to add its ores and renewable resource plants to newly generated terrain.

In version 1.0.9, integration supports both the ground terrain and floating islands.

Fantasy Ore is optional—Saura’s World works without it.

✅ Standalone: Saura’s Adventures+QoL and Spirit & Effect Holograms are not required.

🌐 Multiplayer: install the same Saura’s World version on the server and every player’s client.

🗺️ World generation note

The continuous ground beneath floating islands is new in 1.0.9. Existing chunks keep their previous terrain. Create a new world for a consistent landscape, or explore previously ungenerated areas to discover the updated generation.
