What's new
- 26.2.263 follows the initial release, 26.2.256. It revises fermentation, spinning, pottery and skewer preparation, and adds more ways to set the table.
- Supports Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 and the full release of 26.3. The 26.3 target moves from RC2 to the full release, with optional JEI integration now available. For Minecraft 26.3, JEI integration has been checked using a beta version of JEI. Fabric Loader and Fabric API are required.
- Added the Koji Shelf. Grow rice koji from steamed rice, or shoyu koji from steamed soybeans and cracked roasted wheat. Growth is visible both on the shelf and in its interface.
- Miso is now made by maturing boiled soybeans, rice koji and salt directly in a jar.
- New miso moromi production has ended. Existing moromi remains usable with salt in the jar to make miso, in the same quantities and with the same result. Its name and artwork are unchanged.
- Soy sauce now follows a sequence of culturing, fermentation, pressing and heat finishing. Mature shoyu koji with brine in a jar, press the moromi, then heat the raw shoyu in a pot. Shoyu moromi is now bottled, and the same bottle carries through from the jar to the pot. Existing shoyu moromi is treated as mature and can go straight into the press.
- Expanded the fermentation jar to four ingredient slots. Hoppers can supply all ingredient slots from above or from the sides.
- Added the Spinning Wheel and moved cotton-to-string production from the crafting table to this device. Cotton seed separation remains available at the crafting table.
- Added the Potter’s Wheel. Select a shape in its working grid, form an unfired vessel from clay, then fire it in a kiln. Small plates and bowls join the existing platters in Hagi, Oribe, Karatsu, Shigaraki, Bizen and Yachimun ware.
- Serve noodle and rice bowl dishes in placed bowls, then use an empty hand to eat, leaving the empty vessel. Served food cannot be retrieved and is lost if the bowl is broken. Added a one-block-high table, with tables and served bowls also appearing in the standing noodle shop in the noodle hamlet.
- The Grill Stand now cooks prepared skewers. Craft ingredients, bamboo skewers and seasonings together before loading the grill. Skewers are no longer supplied separately to the grill.
- For existing grills, collect finished dishes first, then recover the remaining ingredients and skewers through the output slot or a hopper below. Progress from the old process is cancelled; craft the recovered materials into skewers before grilling them again.
- The Mortar and Pestle can now polish rough rice and glutinous rough rice, producing rice and bran. Added a separate byproduct slot for bran. Existing millstone polishing recipes remain available.
- Tenkasu now uses flour, salt and oil. To make obi-ten, grind surimi, tofu, egg, ginger and neri miso into obi-ten mixture in a mortar, then deep-fry it with oil. Batches already in progress before the update finish once with their original ingredients.
- Rebalanced device processing times to suit their tasks. The Bottle Filler now works only in the bucket-to-bottle direction; filled bottles no longer pour their contents back into its tank.
- The mod’s bottled liquids now stack to 16 when their contents match. Fixed bottled milk failing to clear status effects when consumed.
- Updated artwork for cut vegetables, fish, meat and other prepared ingredients, dried grains, skewered dishes, nigiri sushi and miso-stuffed akebi. Redrew foliage textures and adjusted blade shapes and held-item presentation, including the kitchen knife, sickle, katana and naginata.
- Improved ingredient hints and input filtering on dedicated devices. Koji Shelf slots and slots for multiple ingredients stay blank when empty; the Potter’s Wheel and Spinning Wheel animate while processing.
