Your choices, your consequences.

Meet the Goatlings

goatlings

zombi

The Goatlings are an entirely new civilization inspired by gothic architecture, philosophy, and modern Satanic symbolism reimagined. You can trade with them simply by right clicking them with their respective trading materials in hand. There are many types of Goatlings, which are:

-Goatling: It's the most common to see. They trade early-mid game materials like flint, string, coal, sugar, etc. It only accepts rubies.

-Baby Goatling. A smaller variant of the common goatling. They don't do anything more than roaming around. They're just silly cute guys.

-Priest Goatling: A variant with longer horns and pinkier clothing. It can trade mid-game materials like amethyst, resin, iron nuggets, etc. It only accepts permata.

-Artisan Goatling: A variant recognizable by its green clothing. It mainly trades paintings, but it can also trade ink sacs, paper, brushes and books. It only accepts rubies.

-Elder Goatling: A variant recognizable for its blue clothing and glasses. It trades advanced-game material like iron ingots, emeralds, and very rarely, summoner upgrades. It exclusively accepts blocks of ruby.

-Zombified Goatlings: It spawns exclusively in the nether. They're neutral and don't trade anything.

The Wildlers

wildlers

The Wildlers are a variant of Goatlings that have completely hugged nature with all it's beauty and dangers. They don't trade, and are also neutral, so don't attack them if you don't want them to attack you. They appear in structures, and all of them include chests with loot and sometimes summoner upgrades. They also count with variants, which are:

-Wildler: The most common one. Its main feature is the high knockback it applies to its victims.

-Swordsman Wildler: While is the slowest of the Wildlers, it deals the biggest amount of damage to its targets.

-Archer Wildler: It's not only the fastest, but also shoots arrows to its targets.

New Biomes

biomes

nether

Numerous biomes have been added both in the Overworld and Nether to provide more variety in the environments of both dimensions. The new biomes are:

-Bleeding Orchard: A forest biome filled with patches of moss and podzol, and it's filled with the purple-colored Alabaster trees.

-Azalea Forest: A jungle variant filled with moss, clay, and azalea trees. It's guaranteed that a lush cave will be located beneath this biome.

-Redstone Spikes: A high-temperature variant of the Ice Spikes. The colossal spikes in this biome are composed of cobbled redstone, which can be turned into smooth and brick variants. Red sand, black sand and lava lakes appear throughout this biome.

-Silver Birch Forest: A variant of the birch forest with gray leaves. The leaves never change its colors when placed out of this biome and drop their own saplings.

-Red Fields: A biome filled with all the red flowers in the game. Huge red mushrooms and oak trees. Goats spawn here.

-Elderwoods: A forest variant with giant trees and huge mushrooms. Mooshrooms can rarely spawn here.

-Basalt Shore: A coastal biome filled with columns of basalt. Deepslate and black sand also appear here.

-Blackshore: A beach variant completely filled with black sand and sandstone.

-Embersteppe: A biome recognizable for its orange grass coloration and piles of obsidian. No hostile mobs appear here, but passive mobs neither.

-Quartz Desert: A nether biome composed by raw quartz blocks, which can be crafted into normal quartz. Quartz crystals can be found throughout the biome. Skeletons spawn here.

New Structures

Satan's Legacy adds a great amount of structures. The new structures added are:

-Black Chapel: The most common Goatling structure. It mainly serves as a presentation to the Goatlings to the player. Priest Goatlings appear here. It can be found in Plains and Snowy Plains.

-Atheneum: A big library full of bookshelves. This is one of the few structures in which you can find Elder Goatlings. It only appears in Meadows.

-Tower of Babel: A giant tower with both Goatlings and Wildlers.

Main Progression

-The Summoners

The summoners are the most important type of item for mod's main progression. To craft them, you'll need rubies, ruby nuggets and blood.

To acquire blood, you'll have multiple options, but the easiest one is to acquire the "Blood Extractor" enchantment, which can either be found in loot chests or by trading with villagers. The only tool able to be enchanted with this enchantment is the scythe, which it's crafted with rubies and sticks. With this enchantment, every entity that is killed with the scythe will drop blood. Additionally, when a soul sand block is break with an enchanted scythe, it will drop souls.

-The Companions

companions

One of the main uses for the summoner is to craft them with other ingredients to create specific summoners for summoning unique entities. These unique entities are:

-Imp: Crafted using magma cream. It's tamed with soul sand and soul soil. When the imp attacks an entity, the target will not only receive a big knockback attack, but also will be set on fire.

-Watcher: Crafted using eyes, which are also crafted combining rotten flesh, bone meal, grimerite ingots and spider eyes. It's tamed with spider eyes. It's rideable, and once tamed, the player can fully control its direction. It can also fly.

-Entling: Crafted using leaf, which is crafted by placing any leaves block in a crafting table. It can be tamed using both coal and charcoal. When the entling attacks an entity, the entity will have a new harmful effect called "parasites" for 5 seconds every time it's attacked by the entling.

-Deformed Creeper: Crafted using gunpowder. It's tamed with rotten flesh. When right clicked with a flint and steel or a fire charge, the deformed creeper will deal an explosion with a radius of four blocks, but unlike the normal creepers, it won't disappear.

-Mourner: Crafted with ectoplasm, which is also crafted combining souls, blood, lapis lazuli, and magma cream, and additionally, ghasts have a small probability to drop ectoplasm when it dies. It's tamed with paranormal flowers, which are crafted surrounding any flower with eight ectoplasm. It applies five seconds of slowness to all the entities it hurts. It flies around.

-Bellkeeper: Crafted with bells. It can be tamed with gold nuggets. When the bellkeeper attacks an entity, the entity will have a new effect called "daze" for 5 seconds every time it's attacked by the entling, which completely paralyzes the entity.

-Basalt Crawler: Crafted using basalt. It can be tamed using magma cream. It's rideable. When tamed, there's a probability that it will give you the "fire runner" effect, which allows players to walk on lava.

-Bloodler: Crafted with blood. The bloodler serves as an alternative way to acquire blood. Just like the blood extractor enchantment, everytime it kills an entity, it will drop blood.

-Upgrading

upgraded

For summon the main bosses of the mod, you'll need to find the "summoner upgrade," which appears in loot chests of many of the new structures of the mod.

-The Seven Deadly Sins

sins

The seven deadly sins are the main bosses of the mod. Just like the companions, when specific materials are combined with an upgraded summoner template. Every sin will only be able to be summoned over a glowing obsidian block, which is crafted surrounding an obsidian with eight rubies. When spawned, the seven sins will give you two options: either complete a challenge they give you, or fight them as bosses. The challenges, when completed successfully, will provide you with positive potion effects for one entire hour, but when failed, you'll be sent to another dimension: The Purgatory.

purgatory

The only way to escape the purgatory is to craft a "teleporter relic," which when right clicked will teleport you back to the overworld. The respective ore and material to craft it can be found in the caves of the purgatory.

The main focus of the seven sins are the boss battles. Every time you defeat each of them, they will give you an organ. These organs serve to craft the summoner to the final boss.

-The Legacy

The legacy is the final boss of the mod. Its summoner it's crafted using all seven sins' organs, a block of blood and an upgraded summoner template. The boss has five phases. I won't go into deeper spoilers, but in its last phase, every time the legacy is hurt, it has the probability to spawn minions which will attack you.

-The Crown

The crown will be acquired once you kill the legacy. You'll have two options: craft it into a new item, or right click it. When right clicked, you'll get a new infinite effect called "tyranny," which will buff your abilities like health, strength, mining efficiency, etc.
