⚔ Combat techniques

Obtain a Samurai Spell Book through the Spell Binding Table and bind your techniques. Choose one technique from each tier to create a three-technique loadout.
- Issen — charge your blade and dash through enemies in a sudden cutting strike.
- Noto — prepare an empowered strike for your next attack or technique.
- Tenko — focus your strength into a piercing thrust along your aim.
- Shinto Mekkyaku — recover health through successful attacks during a brief combat stance.
- Bushido — temporarily increase your offensive power and mobility. With Better Combat, katanas gain sweeping diagonal attacks and red trails.
- Roar of the Full Moon — charge a broad slash that cuts through enemies in front of you.
Katanas also carry Parry: time your defense against a frontal attack to set up a counterstrike.
Class techniques and melee passives support other melee weapons, including swords, axes, and spears. Bushido's special attack animations and trails remain exclusive to Samurai katanas.
🛡 Weapons & armor
- Progress through craftable material katanas and upgrade your armor at the Smithing Table.
- Equip Bushi, Warlord, and Netherite Warlord armor as you advance.
- With Armory, pursue Crimson Moon and Black Oni armor, each with two-piece and four-piece set bonuses. Upper-tier armor is obtained through smithing upgrades.
- With Arsenal, discover two unique loot weapons: Dawnsteel Katana, which ignites enemies, and Hungering Oni Katana, which builds Berserk through repeated hits. Look for them in fiery and evil-themed loot, respectively.
🔧 Configuration
Server owners and pack makers can adjust combat settings through server-samurai-server.toml and customize skills, equipment, recipes, and skill tree rewards with datapacks under data/samurai_rpg/.
