Description
Salamander Studio is a collection of tools for creating custom adventures, parkour maps, puzzles, and interactive structures in Minecraft.
Its built-in editor makes it possible to configure many gameplay mechanics without having to construct complex command-block systems.
The mod is designed for both small challenges and larger adventure maps featuring moving platforms, hidden passages, interactive mechanisms, and custom progression.
Map and Mechanism Editor
Use the in-game editor to select regions, configure special blocks, adjust gameplay effects, and manage moving structures.
The editor includes tools for mechanism configuration, route editing, previews, and managing changes.
Programmable Moving Platforms
Create platforms with custom movement paths.
For example, a platform can move upward, travel horizontally, pause, and return to its starting position.
Movement routes, platform groups, and control options allow you to build elevators, dynamic parkour sections, and mechanical puzzles.
Camouflage Blocks and Secret Passages
Create hidden doors, concealed trapdoors, secret passages, and other structures designed to blend into their surroundings.
These tools are particularly useful for puzzle maps, labyrinths, hidden rooms, and exploration-focused adventures.
Parkour and Challenges
Build interactive challenges using checkpoints, temporary platforms, movement effects, traps, and player-triggered mechanisms.
Combine different elements to create multi-stage parkour courses and adventure scenarios.
Additional Tools
Salamander Studio also provides tools for configuring commands, items, entities, and gameplay behavior.
Some versions include additional systems for recipe customization and resource-based area progression.
