ABOUT
This mod adds several 'modifier' items, which allow you upgrading your gear. Each of those items increases or decreases certain stats of your tools upon applying them. You can configure items, which can have modifiers applied. They can be applied to items via an anvil. Check out the gallery to see how it looks!
NEW ATTRIBUTES
This mod also adds several new attibutes.
RESISTANCE: Reduces the damage taken. Formula: (damageTaken = damageTaken * 0.96^resistance)
HARVEST SPEED MULTIPLIER: multiplies your harvest speed.
POISON TIME: applies poison to entities you attack for a certain period.
DAMAGE SPREAD MULTIPLIER: Makes your damage vary. For example, if you have 0.1 Damage Spread Multiplier and you deal 5 damage, your damage will be increased or decreased by up to 10%.
SMELTING: unused as of now.
OBTAINING
Here are the ways to obtain the modifiers.
ROUGH DIAMOND: has a 15% chance to drop from a diamond ore upon blowing it up
CRYSTALLIZED REDSTONE: 5% to drop when mining redstone
CRYSTALLINE AMALGAMATION: 3.5% chance to drop from any ore when mining it below Y32
OBSIDIAN CHUNK: 6% chance to drop when mining obsidian
ENVENOMED FANG: 8% chance to drop from cave spiders, 2% to drop from normal spiders
ENVENOMED OBSIDIAN FORMATION: can be crafted with 4 Envenomed Fangs and 1 Obsidian Chunk
PLANS
First of all, plans are just plans. Many things may go wrong.
With that said, I'd like to add more modifiers to the mod, as well as making it much more configurable.
