SafeSpawn generates a structure at world creation that provides a safe spawn area for players and initial loot.

The structure consists of stone brick walls with a walkway atop the walls with a dais in the center with an inert beacon providing a beam of light to find your way back from a medium distance. From the dais in each cardinal direction are carpets leading to doors in the walls to leave the structure.

Around the inside of the walls are crafting tables in the corners flanked by beds and a chest on either side of each door with loot generated from the village and bonus chest loot tables, and on the North side, one chest is replaced with a barrel with a custom loot table that is guaranteed to have a full set of leather armor, a stone sword, 64 torches, 4 leather, 4 string, and 1 chest (the latter of which is the crafting recipe for a basic Sophisticated Backpacks backpack). The chests and barrels will be Lootr chests and barrels if Lootr is installed.

Outside the wall, you will find plots of farmland populated with available crops from vanilla and any installed mods (excluding Torchflowers and Mystical Agriculture crops) and pathways leading away from spawn. Stairs will be placed leading up or down as needed, cutting through any terrain encountered, and if the stairway down leads to water, a wooden dock will be generated.

Within the dais, is an unbreakable Heart of Spawn that applies effects to entities nearby. Immediately outside the wall, monsters will be hit with the wither effect and glowing. Should they make it through the doors, they will additionally be hit with slowness. Animals inside the walls will be given regeneration, as will players who have less than 30% health.

Most of these features are configurable, including what effects to apply to players, animals, and monsters.

All added blocks in this mod inherit vanilla textures, and as a result, using most resource packs will also be used for these blocks as well.

The "Heart of Spawn" is not craftable, but the Inert Beacon and Spawn Lanterns are.
