Build with LittleTiles on your Sable ships and have it actually work.
LittleTiles and Sable are both fantastic mods that absolutely refuse to get along. Both deeply rewrite how Minecraft renders and collides blocks, and Sable flat-out won't load with LittleTiles installed.
This add-on is the bridge. Put your sub-block builds on a Sable sub-level and they finally render, light, collide, and let you build on them while the vehicle moves and turns.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — required config
Sable marks LittleTiles as incompatible, and NeoForge blocks that before any mod loads — so the fix is one config line, not a modified Sable jar. Use the normal, unmodified Sable and add this to config/fml.toml:
[dependencyOverrides]
sable = ["-littletiles"]
If config/fml.toml doesn't exist yet, launch the game once to create it, paste those two lines, then relaunch.
📦 Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.x
- LittleTiles + CreativeCore
- Sable — the normal jar, plus the config line above (no repack)
- Sodium — optional, fully supported
Known limitations
- The hover outline on vehicle tiles isn't drawn (tiles in the open world keep theirs).
- LittleTiles' own animations (a door while opening) play in world space on a vehicle; the static state is fine.
- Single-block Sable sub-levels aren't bridged.
