sableinbottle-neoforge-1.21.1-1.2.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Bottling a running ship no longer loses its rotating structures, and the bottle item is now fully 3D.
## Fixes
- **Rotating structures lost when bottling a running ship**: sails, propeller bearings, motors and the like are assembled into Create contraption entities while spinning, so their blocks no longer live in the chunk data. The old capture only serialized the chunk, which meant the structure was missing from the Ponder preview, the placed bottle and the released ship — and since contraption entities are destroyed during capture, the blocks were lost for good. Capture now force-disassembles every assembled contraption first (the same code path as shutting the motor off, with angles snapped to 90°), so the structure is stored in full. Released ships come out with their motors stopped, exactly like bottling after shutdown.
- **Wrong item view and oversized dropped item for the full bottle**: the full-bottle model was missing its parent, so it never inherited the `display` transforms — the creative tab fell back to the raw orientation and the dropped item used the raw model size. Fixed; full and empty bottles now share the exact same view.
- **Ponder text translation keys broke**: the oversized-structure branch shifted every implicit, order-based language key afterwards, showing raw or missing strings. Ponder text now uses stable keys.
## Additions & improvements
- **Fully 3D item**: the bottle item drops its hand-painted 2D textures and uses the same 3D bottle model as the placed block; the full bottle contains a miniature ship (dark hull, mast, white sail, red flag), so empty and full stay distinguishable at a glance.
- **Retuned display transforms**: complete `display` setup for the creative tab, first/third person hands, ground drops and item frames — the model previously had no `display` at all, so every view used the raw orientation (flat face in the inventory, barely visible in hand, broken drop size).
- **Placement facing**: the bottle now rotates with the player's direction so the cork always lands on the left side of the view, and the bottled ship turns with the block.
- **Creative tab cleanup**: removed the redundant "Bottled Ship" block item entry (still obtainable via `/give`).
- **Localization**: creative tab name and all Ponder strings now complete in Chinese and English.
## Known limitations
- Bottles captured in the running state on 1.1.0 or earlier never had their structure data written and cannot be recovered — recapture the ship.
- Shipwreck treasure chests still drop the bottle at a 30% chance (empty); unchanged in this release.
