Sable Drydock 2.38
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Changes in 2.37–2.38
Added
- Unloaded sub-levels in the manager. Sub-levels saved on disk but not loaded are now listed, dimmed and marked "not loaded" (◌).
- Loading on demand. Selecting an unloaded sub-level, or bringing it into the scene or the dock, loads it. The view shows "Loading the sub-level…" until it is in.
- Keeping your work loaded. The sub-levels you work with (the selected one, the scene, the dock) stay loaded while you are away, including while the manager is closed with work in the dock. They are let go when the scene is cleared or you leave.
- Chunk ticket of its own. The mod forces only the chunks it needs, so chunks forced with
/forceloadare left alone, and no forced chunks are kept over a restart. - Manager permission. New server setting
managerPermissionLevel(default2, operators). Without it, the K key and the Edit button in Sable Cleanup Tools say so instead of opening the manager.
Changed
permissionLevelnow applies to the/drydockcommands only.- Sable Photomancy (1.0.1+) and Synaxis (1.5.0+) are now required dependencies, so a missing mod is reported at startup. Sable Cleanup Tools and Create stay optional.
- The manager list now shows where a recently unloaded sub-level really is.
Fixed
- Unloaded sub-levels did not load when selected in the manager or brought into the dock. Sable keeps a just-unloaded sub-level at its new place in memory and writes it to disk only when the world saves. The manager read only the files, kept the wrong chunks loaded and waited forever. It now reads Sable's holding chunks in memory first and the files only for the rest.
