Runescuffed

Find these around the world and mine them for rune chunks. Sometimes they have an elemental stone nearby.

Once a spell is selected in the radial menu it will show here while equipped. Duck and press the radial menu hotkey to unequip or select a different spell.

The runes

Talismans locate nearby (2ish chunks) elemental stones of the same element. Just right click! The water talisman requires either a lilypad or kelp and nature uses any sapling.

These can be found all over the world but if you want to make your own, here you go. The rune block is simply cosmetic.

Throwing blank runes onto an elemental stone gives back that many elemental runes. Twice as many if you used pure runes instead.

Rune chunks can be cut into twice as many blank runes. Smelt both rune chunks and blank runes if you want pure runes.

Press R to access and select a spell. While holding a rune staff, right click to cast spells that consume runes.
