RubyCraft
Short description
Adds the ruby to Minecraft: a rare ore found deep underground, plus ruby tools, a full armor set, and food. The mod adds no mobs. Requires Forge.
Full description
RubyCraft adds a new red gem, the ruby, found in deep caves and used to craft gear as strong as diamond.
Ores and blocks
- Ruby Ore: found in stone, with a deepslate variant found deeper down (between Y -64 and Y 16).
- Raw Ruby: drops from the ore and is smelted in a furnace to get a ruby.
- Block of Ruby: crafted from 9 rubies.
Tools
- Ruby sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel and hoe, with stats close to diamond.
Armor
- Ruby helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots, with protection close to diamond (20 points in total).
Food
- Ruby Apple: grants Regeneration and Absorption.
- Crystallized Ruby Apple: a rarer and more powerful version.
Other items
- Ruby nugget, ruby horse armor and ruby door.
Textures
- Blocks use 32x32 textures and items use 16x16, in a style close to vanilla.
