Beginning anew, the Rubies of Doom mod is based around vanilla-esque toolsets, more convenient crafting recipes, and dangerous exploration.
Some vanilla mobs drop pelts, which can be used to craft leather. Chains can be crafted into mail, where after they can be used as material for chain mail armor.
These features and more are planned to come.
