Discord Integration

Discord Integration connects your Minecraft 1.12.2 server to a Discord server through a real Discord bot (JDA-based) - a two-way chat bridge, account linking with slash commands, in-game item showcasing, and auto-updating leaderboard embeds. Nothing requires the client to have the mod installed except the optional item-showcase icon rendering.

Features

Chat Bridge

Two-way relay between a configured Minecraft chat channel and in-game chat
Minecraft → Discord messages post as the player via webhook, using their real username, current skin head as the avatar, and (optionally) their LuckPerms rank prefix
Discord → Minecraft messages appear in-game tagged [Discord] <name>: <message>, with attachment links included
Ignores bot/webhook traffic to prevent echo loops

Account Linking

/discord link in-game generates a short-lived code; /link code:<code> in Discord completes the link
/discord unlink (in-game) or /unlink (Discord) removes the link
A configurable one-time reward (an item with optional NBT, or a console command) is granted on first successful link - delivered immediately if online, or queued and delivered on next login if not

Item Showcase

Sharing an item in Minecraft chat (via the vanilla hover-item mechanism used by Quark's Display Item and similar mods) automatically posts its icon and tooltip to Discord

Slash Commands (Discord-side)

/link, /unlink — account linking
/profile [player] - posts a rich embed of a linked or named player's stats
/leaderboard [category] - posts a top-10 leaderboard embed for any stat category

Auto-Updating Leaderboards

Keeps one pinned, auto-refreshing leaderboard embed per stat category in a configured channel, on a configurable interval - persists across restarts by matching pins back to categories

Join/Leave Announcements

Optional Discord announcements when players join or leave, with rank prefix if available

Optional Integrations

Stat Profiles - required for /profile, /leaderboard, and the leaderboard embeds; the bot still runs and the chat bridge still works without it, those features simply report as unavailable
LuckPerms - adds rank prefixes to chat-bridge and join/leave messages when present

Configuration

All settings live in config/discordintegration/config.json: bot token, guild ID, chat and leaderboard channel IDs, per-feature toggles (chat bridge, item showcase, join/leave messages, rank prefixes), link-code expiry, leaderboard refresh interval, and the link reward.
