🌿 Rosemary

Rosemary is a small Minecraft mod that adds a new plant, some food recipes, and a couple of useful blocks. The idea is pretty simple: give rosemary a place in your world and let you do more with it than just collect it.

🌱 Finding and growing rosemary

Rosemary can spawn naturally in the world, replacing some patches of regular grass. If you find some, collect its seeds! Breaking rosemary can give you seeds, and you can use them to grow more plants around your base.

You can also put Rosemary Seeds in a composter, so even your extra seeds have a use.

And if you're lucky, you might come across Golden Rosemary while exploring. It's rare, so don't expect to find it everywhere.

🍞 Food recipes

Got some Rosemary Seeds? You can use them to make new versions of familiar Minecraft foods.

The recipes are easy to remember: place the original food in the middle of the crafting table and put four Rosemary Seeds around it, one on each side.

The mod adds these food variations:

• Rosemary Beef

• Rosemary Baked Potato

• Rosemary Carrot

• Rosemary Golden Carrot

• Rosemary Cooked Porkchop

• Rosemary Raw Porkchop

No complicated crafting chains or hard-to-remember recipes. If you have the original food and enough seeds, you're good to go.

🧱 Rosemary Block

If you've been collecting seeds for a while, you can turn them into something more useful. Just fill a 3×3 crafting grid with nine Rosemary Seeds to make a Rosemary Block.

And it isn't only for building! Standing on a Rosemary Block reduces your fall damage by 80%, which can come in handy when you're building tall structures or exploring.

✨ Golden Rosemary

Golden Rosemary is a rare find, but there's a good reason to keep an eye out for it.

When you break a Golden Rosemary Block, it drops 2–6 Gold Nuggets. It's a little extra reward for finding one, and another way to get some gold while exploring.
