This mod will make resources such as ores and minerals recoverable it works like that:

there are types of ores, they are called “compacted ores”, they spawn ore of the same type around themselves, this can be done with diamonds, earth and gold.
Dimond recover 1 hour gold 15 min and iron 12 min.
