Ronova: Ruler of Death


Become **Ronova, the Shade of Death** from Genshin Impact: her look, her wings and eyes, and her authority over death. _Overpowered by design._

The power is granted by a command (operator or cheats on). One Ronova per world by default — servers can allow several in the settings.

/ronova grant [player]              — make a player Ronova (no name — yourself)
/ronova revoke [player]             — take the power away
/ronova who                         — who is Ronova now
/ronova config                      — open the settings menu (anyone; without operator rights — only «For me»)
/ronova config list                 — all server settings in chat
/ronova config <setting> <value>    — change a server setting, e.g. /ronova config general.multiple true
/ronova afterlife <player> release  — bring a stuck soul back from the Afterlife
/ronovabot spawn | remove           — a test bot to watch the skills from the outside (then /ronova grant RonovaBot)
/ronovabot use <skill> [seconds]    — make the bot use a skill (with seconds — hold it)

• Her dress, veil, wings and eyed feathers, with cloth simulation
• Title card on manifestation, custom death and totem sequences
• Her crows — a 3D crow made for the mod, dissolving into embers
• Her Authority tears the sky open: a crimson vortex over the whole sky above the rift
• Everyone picks how they see her and how others see them: full look, wings only or own skin

Players sealed by Mortification wake up in the Afterlife: floating crimson ruins above the void, mist, whispers and eyes in the dark. The way back is through a **gate of light**, and only a guide can open it:

• a totem of undying in hand comes alive and leads to the nearest gate;
• or three shards from the altars merge into the Seal of Life, which leads the way.

**Bond of Life** — Ronova sees the souls from her Realm, and every hit she lands binds one of their hearts. Bound hearts do not heal, the soul burns with a crimson flame, and the gate will not open until shards or a totem pay the Bond back. Chat there reaches only souls nearby… or not only them.

Where her beam, orb, Death Wave or Mortification strike, leaves turn yellow and fall, grass dries out, crops rot and corals bleach. A server setting decides what happens next: nothing, color only, the forest grows back after a few minutes, or stays dead forever.

**How to open:** type `/ronova config` in chat, or use the mods list — _Mod Menu_ on Fabric/Quilt, the _Config_ button in _Mods_ on NeoForge and Forge.

• For me — your own choices on this computer: how you see Ronova and how others see you, aim assist hold or toggle, what X + 1–8 does
• General, Abilities, Passive powers, Afterlife — server settings (operator only): every ability has its own damage, range, radius, cooldown and more; several Ronovas, flight, death of nature, the sky vortex, what happens to players inside Mortification
• Hover a setting to see what it does; the search box finds any setting by name

Server settings are saved in `config/ronova.jsonc` and sent to every player. Changes apply right away, no restart.

The **?** in the middle of the skill wheel opens Ronova's guide: every skill with an animated example — the sniper flash, aim assist, the death wave, her Realm and more. In all 16 languages.
