Rocket Pitch
Rocket Pitch brings arcade car-football gameplay to Minecraft Java. Drive custom cars, hit a physics-driven ball, manage boost pads, and play team matches in a generated arena.
Features
- Car acceleration, steering, handbrake/drift, boost, jumping, directional dodges, flip cancel, and air-roll.
- Server-authoritative vehicle and ball movement, team scoring, match clock, golden-goal overtime, and demolitions.
- Six selectable modes: Soccar, Hoops, Snow Day, Dropshot, Rumble, and Heatseeker.
- Rumble includes all eleven power-ups, with effects adapted to Minecraft.
- Ball cam and configurable controls.
Requirements
- Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or compatible version for Minecraft 26.3
- Fabric API for Minecraft 26.3
- Java 25
- In multiplayer, install Rocket Pitch on both the client and the server.
Getting started
Enable commands, then run /rocketpitch arena, /rocketpitch mode soccar, /rocketpitch car, /rocketpitch team blue, and /rocketpitch match start. Use /rocketpitch team orange for the other team. /rocketpitch help lists commands and controls.
The arena is built around the command user's location and replaces blocks in its footprint. The mod has not yet had an in-game playtest; the current build is compile-verified and is distributed as a Beta.
Controls
W/S accelerate and reverse; A/D steer; Space jumps and dodges; Left Shift boosts; Left Ctrl drifts; Q/E air-roll; C flip-cancels; R uses a Rumble power-up; V toggles ball cam. Controls can be rebound in Minecraft's Controls menu.
Compatibility and scope
Fabric only, for Minecraft Java 26.3. This is an independent community mod inspired by car-football games; it is not affiliated with Psyonix or Epic Games and does not include official Rocket League code or assets.
Physics and alternate modes are approximations for Minecraft. Wall/ceiling driving, strict four-wheel flip resets, bots, replays, training packs, statistics, Knockout, and mutators are not implemented yet. Snow Day uses a puck-shaped model but retains a simplified spherical collision box.
