The year 3001 crashed into your world. At night a Chrono Rift tears open in the sky and a pod of future tech
crashes down, guarded by Sentinels that fire lasers. Salvage the wreck, print your tech in a holographic
Fabricator, charge it with cable-free Flux, and take to the air with a jetpack or a hover skiff,
fight beside a drone, stomp around in a mech and link your bases with rift gates.
Formerly Robotica and The Year 3001: old worlds load with their blocks, items and robots.
Fabric and NeoForge (Forge on 1.20.1) · Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3 · install on the server and
clients · no extra library needed

Version 2.0 rebuilds the mod from scratch. Here's what changed from Robotica 1.0:
- Chrono Rifts (new): a night event with a falling pod, a crater, a Rift Cache of salvage and its Sentinel guard;
a Rift Beacon calls one on demand
- Sentinels now keep their distance and shoot laser bolts; their visors glow in the dark
- The Fabricator replaces the Crafting Workstation: a recipe list with have/need counts, one click to print and a
hologram of the item while it prints
- Flux (new): one energy for every device, and a Flux Charger that beams it to your gear and robots
- Jetpack, Hover Skiff, Plasma Cutter, Pulse Rifle, Rift Gates (new)
- The Drone (was the Boggie) follows you and takes Collector, Guard and Lamp chips
- The Mech leaps and slams the ground; upgrade cards give fixed, capped bonuses instead of random ones
- New models, animations, glowing layers, particles and 21 sound effects
- Ores generate again and every recipe and drop works on every version (on 1.21.1 nothing could be crafted before)
- Now for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3; the 26.2 version no longer crashes on start
- Oil is gone

Watch the night sky. When a rift opens, follow the streak of fire to the crash site, deal with the Sentinels and crack
open the Rift Cache. Its Rift Shards and parts go into the Fabricator, the Flux Charger burns coal or shards to power
what you print, and the better your gear gets, the further you can go: up with a jetpack, across the map in a skiff,
into fights in a mech, and back home through a rift gate.

- Every minute of night each player has a 4 % chance of a rift (at most one every 15 minutes, all configurable).
- The rift opens above a spot 24 to 48 blocks away; nearby players are told the direction.
- The Chrono Pod crashes and digs a small scorched crater (nothing else is destroyed); in it stands a Rift
Cache with 2 or 3 Sentinels around it (none on Peaceful).
- Right-click the cache for 2 to 4 Rift Shards, scrap, metal, circuit parts and sometimes a processor.
- A Rift Beacon takes 4 Rift Shards and calls a pod down next to itself. Operators can use
/chronofall rift.

- 20 recipes in one list: flux cells, circuit boards, processors, every device, robot, chip and card.
- Pick a recipe to see what you have and what you need; Fabricate takes the parts from your inventory.
- The item prints into the output slot while its hologram spins above the block. Hoppers can take the output.

- Every device stores Flux and shows it as a charge bar.
- The Flux Charger burns any furnace fuel (coal: 6,400 Flux) or a Rift Shard (40,000) and holds 100,000.
- Without cables it charges the device in its slot, the gear of players within 4 blocks, and drones, mechs and skiffs
within 8 blocks, with a visible beam. Comparators read it; hoppers feed it.
- A Flux Cell right-clicked on a robot or vehicle tops it up.

- Jetpack: wear it, hold jump to fly. Thruster flames, no fall damage while charged, about 75 seconds of thrust.
It works on servers that do not allow flight.
- Hover Skiff: a one-seat flying craft. W/S throttle, A/D turn, jump climbs, sprint descends; it banks into turns
and shows flux, speed and altitude on the HUD. About four minutes of flight per charge, smooth on servers.

- Drone: follows the player who deployed it. Collector chip: brings items within 10 blocks to you. Guard
chip: shoots hostile mobs near you. Lamp chip: lights the way. Sneak-right-click to pick it up with its chips.
- Mech: a rideable walker that steps up blocks, leaps, and slams the ground when it lands (8 damage and
knockback around it). Its rider hits harder.
- Upgrade cards for the mech: Bulk +10 health, Damage +2, Defense +4 armour (5 each), Speed +10 % (3); the Repair
Card heals it.

- Plasma Cutter: hold use to cut the block you look at up to 12 blocks away, at a diamond tool's speed.
- Pulse Rifle: a laser bolt (7 damage) every half second.
- Sentinels: 30 health, 4 armour, laser bolts (5 damage); they drop scrap and sometimes a Rift Shard.
- Titanium, cobalt, orichalcum and scrap debris generate underground; four tool and armour tiers from scrap
(between stone and iron) to orichalcum (between diamond and netherite).

Right-click two gates with a Rift Tuner to link them. Stand on one for two seconds and you arrive at the other, at
any distance and across dimensions.

- Old worlds load: every block, item and robot from Robotica and The Year 3001 that 2.0 keeps comes back under its
new name (the Crafting Workstation becomes a Fabricator, the Boggie a Drone, the Space Ship a Hover Skiff).
config/chronofall.json, written with comments on first start: rift chance, spacing, distance, guards and
crater; gate range and timing; the mech's slam; the drone's range; the cutter's reach.
- The same features and ids on every version and loader.

Install it on the server and on every client.

Do I need to start a new world? No. Robotica and The Year 3001 worlds load: blocks, items in chests and
inventories, and robots come back as their Chronofall versions. Oil disappears.
Do I need a power network? No. Flux needs no cables: put a Flux Charger near your gear and robots.
Will rifts wreck my base? No. The crater only digs and scorches natural ground (dirt, stone, sand and the like)
around the crash; turn rifts.crater off to keep the ground as it is, or rifts.enabled off for no natural rifts.
Can I fly on a server without allow-flight? Yes, the jetpack and the skiff do not trigger the flight kick.
Does it need to be on the client? Yes, install it on both: the client needs the models, screens and effects.
