The Two Oldest Files For The Mod Are A Different Registry Than The Newest Ones. Updating These Ones Will Cause Lost Progress!

The Asens Are A Violent, Hateful, And IMMENSLY Powerful Race Of Hyparparasitic Warriors. (hyperparasites are parasitic organisms that infect other parasites) As Of The Mods Recent Build, They Don't Target Or Infect Other Infection Mods, But Once The Mod Is Stable Enough, It Will Regularly Recieve Updates That Allow It To Target And Infect Other Infection Mods, With Custom Asen Forms Of Their Blocks And Mods. The Player Themself Is Also Planned To Be Able To Join The Asens.

The Asens Are A Very Deadly Force, The Player Must Summon Them Manually With The Forbidden Mirror (A Craftable Single-Use Item). The Asens Rampage Is Split Into Phases. Three Functional Phases Currently Exist, Though There Are 15 Total Phases Planned. Phases Increase With The Worlds "Collective Hatred" Which Increases By Around 1 Per Day. (Messing With Time May Mess Up The Asens Evolution!)


At First, The Only Naturally Spawning Mobs Are Sacculite Larva. These Will Eventually Evolve Into Sacculites. Sacculites Are Fast And Deadly Mobs That Try To Convert Non-Asens Into Their Repurposed Forms. Sacculites Themselves Have Some Nasty Tricks Up Their Nonexistent Sleeves, They Can Leap, Dash, And Have A Chance To Go Aerial When Brought To Low Health. Apon Death They May Explode And Drop Pods, Which Can Hatch Into More Sacculites, Spawn Nasty Blocks, And Explode.

Chapter 1: awakening

It all started back at the creation of the "DJ" universe. But this universe in question isn't the subject at hand. Something birthed from this universe however... is much more...     "interesting"...
A race semiforged by the gods that would serve the purpose of simple cleansing sins by traveling around the DJ Universe and spreading the word of purity. they had no freedom or will, and didn't actually realize what sin even was.

Through a currently unkown series of events, not only did they figure out and have to witness the sins of the mortals, but were also freed from the shackles of the gods mentioned beforehand. the small yet powerful race felt truama, disgust, and so much more, but there was one feeling that pierced their souls like no other... hatred. burning, boiling hatred for the things they witnessed. for the sorrow of victims to sins like lust, and hatred for those who comit it. hatred for those who were greedy, gluttonistic, and all who overindulged... hatred for those who controled others, and forced them to do things against their will.

the asens became a race of hatred. hatred for the universe; and so they forged portals to expand outwards, beyong just the DJ universe...

Chapter 2: invasion

And so the invasions began- the asens were merely warriors at first… but the more power they absorbed, the more control they had over themselves… not physically, though that is also true, but biologically. They quickly found out they could edit their own genetic makeup and reproduce from nothing just by absorbing biomass. They started out as a nuisance. Invading communities, burning cities, but caused no long term harm. But as they began consuming biomass rich materials from various universes- mainly “infection” they quickly began to reproduce as more than just humans… they mutated into parasites, war machines, and more. And as they grew, their hatred did too. At some point, they encountered a race known as the “senans”- which actually resided in their home universe. The amount of raw hatred and power built off of the war with the senans drove the asens to ascend beyond being an army- they forged titans, and began spreading into other universes not only to destroy what they were originally made to punish- but for planetary colonization. The more they were exposed to, the more powerful they became. They eventually adapted to just about anything that could be thrown at them, but they weren’t done. They wanted to do what they originally set out to do- cleanse all lustful, greedful and gluttonful sin. ALL. they forged a hivemind, leviticus, which fed off of hatred for power. Leviticus would eventually go from a mere deity to above that of the mythics. This is when things took a turn for the asens- and their victims. 

Chapter 3: insanity

Attacks from the asens weren’t just cataclysmic, they were universe ending. Once they found a world they deemed unworthy, they would bring in the infection- rapidly spreading, driving entire cities into insanity- oftentimes described as a hybrid between rabies, schizophrenia, and khltchamorphism, and ebola. This mass hysteria and disease was nothing compared to what comes after it- asenium warriors drop onto the flesh of the world, dismantling everything whilst the infection continues to fester within the world's core. After the entire world is left in dismay, the colonization begins. Huge, biomechanical abominations and infection filled doomships drop from the sky in the millions- colonizers are formed, and the whole world begins to rot- nature loses control, dark purple mass stains the very planet its birthed on, spreading and taking over everything it comes in contact with, whilst the asens assimilate and destroy all life they come in contact with. The world starts falling apart, as titans arise, and antimatter- a material incomparable to any other element observed by science, starts twisting life into something hellish. Civilization falls, as the very planet itself is eaten from the inside out- the entire ozone layer losing composition, days become sweltering, burning anything but the asens themselves, boiling everything to the point of combustion- and the nights, the nights are colder and harsher than winter itself, the few animals that survive the daylight freeze and starve. Titans aren’t just present in the universe at this point, they walk the very planet under invasion, causing the uprise of the final phase of invasion…

Chapter 4: universal destruction

on the first day of the true invasion, never ending hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes the size of continents are formed by the thousands, polluting any drinking water left and destroying all shelter. Entire landmasses collapse in on themselves, the planet's crust shattering. The star within the center of the solar system will burn brighter than it ever has before. The only non asen survivors left will melt and rot as the remaining uncolonized environment is destroyed, and as they decay their biomass fills the atmosphere, and survival will become impossible. Nothing more than a rotting husk, mother nature will take her last breath before the… supernova.

Chapter 5: conclusion

After the asens wipe out a universe, they absorb everything from it, gaining all of its power. Before finding a new one they deem unworthy. They’ve been doing this for years now, and at this point they are practically undefeatable, more powerful as a whole than the gods. I'm obviously intrigued by their race, or I wouldn't have written this. I doubt they will ever be a problem here, especially with all of this blockiness, but I always keep something in mind just in case… 

Always observe abnormalities in the moon.
