Description
Rise of The Arthropods, (RoTA) is a mod intended to add more arthropod related content to the game, the mods primary focus is on spiders, and other arachnids. Currently the mod does not really add much to the game, but I am frequently working on updates, fixes, and improvements. Any sort of feedback is welcome, if you have any idea for this mod, I would probably be glad to hear about them.
Planned Content:
Structures: Dungeons, hives, nests, arenas and other similar structures.
Entities/Mobs: Jumping Spider, Wolf Spider, Huntsman Spider, Diving Bell Spider, Bolas Spider, Spiny Orb-Weaver, Moths and Butterflies, Scorpions, Centipedes, and Crabs.
Minibosses/Bosses: 'Missile Moth'. 'The Monarch' Butterfly. Giant Centipede. Goliath Birdeater. The Golden Wheel Spider. Bosses will have their own unique drops, and a trophy associated with them.
Other miscellaneous stuff: Food from these mobs, more unique tools and items, advancements, poison resistance effect and potion, a block which increases spawning of Arthropod creatures, called 'Arthrodisiac'. Taming, and riding some, or maybe all, of these creatures. Arrows crafted from fangs and chitin, which will be stronger than regular arrows.

Overworld Fangs, dropped from regular spiders, and cave spiders.
Nether Fangs, dropped from the Nether Spider.
Ender Fangs, dropped from the Ender Spider.
Overworld Chitin, dropped from regular spiders, and cave spiders.
Nether Chitin, dropped from the Nether Spider,
Ender Fangs, dropped from the Ender Spider.
Tools:
Overworld Fang Tools: Slightly better than stone tools.
Nether Fang Tools: Slightly better than iron tools.
Ender Fang Tools: Slightly better than diamond tools.
Armor:
Overworld Chitin Armor: Slightly better than leather armor.
Nether Chitin Armor: Slightly better than iron armor.
Ender Chitin Armor: Slightly better than diamond armor.
Entities/Mobs:
'The Nether Spider': Spawns in The Nether, is faster and tougher than a regular spider, lights what it attacks on fire.
'The Ender Spider': Spawns in The End, is faster and tougher than the Nether Spider.
