Riichi Arise
Set up a wind-board table in Minecraft and play a full game of Riichi Mahjong (Japanese Mahjong) with friends or AI. From the dealing animation, calls (chi/pon/kan) to riichi, ura dora, yakuman, and the final scoring announcement, everything is completed within the match.
-
Wind-board table: A 2×2 mahjong table block and a compact small wind-board 3×3 single-block version; the two table layouts switch automatically with the blocks.
-
AI opponents: Built-in
RiichiBot: combines tile efficiency and danger level to make decisions on discards, calls, and riichi. -
Diverse characters: Includes 6 offline built-in characters, each with their own play style and voice, plus about 100 online characters that can be downloaded and cached on demand.
-
Paipu (game records): Each match generates a paipu record, which can be saved locally, viewed in a list, and replayed.
-
Table snapshots are synchronized filtered by viewer, and you can set whether to display match content.
-
Optional LAN access (disabled by default): You can enable an NDJSON over TCP interface on a local port to subscribe to table snapshots, sit down as an external player, and submit actions, making it convenient for scripts or external AI integration and debugging.
Notes
- Online character voices are downloaded on demand from third-party sites on first use and cached locally; only offline characters are distributed with the mod.
- When TLM / Patchouli is not installed, related features are automatically and silently disabled, without affecting normal matches.
Feel free to report issues and suggestions in the comments. May all mahjong players enjoy good fortune in battle.
