RIG Mod – Modular Combat & Engineering System (Forge 1.20.1)

Step into the next evolution of personal armor and weaponry. Inspired by deep-space survival horror, the RIG Mod introduces a progression-based suit and weapon system designed to drastically enhance player survivability and combat capability through specialized equipment tiers and deep modification.

Forget simple stat boosts and durability upgrades. Each RIG tier and weapon introduces distinct functional advantages, unique abilities, and an authentic, interactive node-based upgrade system.

🛡️ Equipment & Weaponry

Level 1 RIG: Your foundational combat chassis. Improves baseline survivability and introduces essential visual enhancements to keep you alive in hostile territory.
Level 2 RIG: A highly advanced tactical suit. Features upgraded performance, expanded capabilities, and built-in environmental tracking.
Level 3 RIG: The elite engineering suit. Heavily reinforced to withstand extreme damage, featuring expanded node capacity and top-tier survival systems for the most dangerous environments.
The Plasma Cutter: An iconic, high-tech engineering tool repurposed for combat. Consumes Plasma Energy to fire high-damage projectiles. Features dynamic firing modes (Vertical/Horizontal beams) to adapt to your targets.

⚙️ The RIG Workbench & Upgrade Nodes

Take full control of your gear. Place your armor or weapons into the RIG Workbench and spend Upgrade Nodes to trace paths through massive, interactive circuit boards.

Suit Upgrades: Route power to increase your RIG's Max HP, Armor plating, and Core Power.
Weapon Upgrades: Navigate an authentic, massive 23-node tech tree for the Plasma Cutter. Strategically increase your Damage (DMG), Ammo Capacity (CAP), Reload Speed (REL), and Rate of Fire (ROF).

⌨️ Tactical Systems & Keybinds

Master your RIG's built-in systems and weapon mechanics on the fly. Check your controls menu to configure these bindings:

[ V ] Toggle Vision Mode: Cycle through integrated visual spectrums (Available on all RIG Helmets).
[ R ] Toggle Tactical Radar: Sweep your perimeter and track entities (Currently exclusive to the Level 2 & Level 3 Helmets).
[ Custom Key ] Rotate Weapon Blade: Physically rotate the Plasma Cutter's emitter between Horizontal and Vertical firing modes.
[ Custom Key ] Reload Weapon: Manually cycle Plasma Energy into your weapon. (Reload speed depends on your RIG Workbench upgrades!)

⚠️ Dependencies & Limitations

REQUIRES GECKOLIB: This mod utilizes complex 3D animations and models. You must have the GeckoLib mod installed for Minecraft 1.20.1, or the game will crash.
JEI Compatibility: At this stage, the mod does not yet support Just Enough Items (JEI). Custom workbench recipes and integrations will not be visible in the JEI menu. Full integration is a high priority for an upcoming patch.
