RiftLoader

small fix so you can actually use rift

Important: please follow the specific installation instructions for this to work.

Rift was a modloader designed for Minecraft 1.13 as MinecraftForge was not available for it. It soon got archived after, staying only available for that version. However, if you are trying to develop with it or run it, it doesn't actually work - it tries to pull artifacts from dimdev.org, which is no longer up. Thus, you cannot run the modloader anymore.

This version fixes that issue, allowing users to load Rift as well as develop for it. I have no intention of updating Rift to the modern version or making it a competitor to Fabric or Forge, I just wanted to give others access to this little piece of history if they wished to mess around with it :)

Sources

The source code isn't available because this is literally just a JAR file that I opened up, changed the download URLS in the profile.json, and closed the file. (i couldnt get it to actually build in a development environment lol, so I resorted to just modifying the JAR.)

Installation

To install, please download the file and run it with java -jar. From there, open your Minecraft launcher and go to installations. Click 'new installation' and search for 'rift'. Then create your new installation and run it.
