ReTerraForged 0.0.19 for Minecraft 26.2 (Fabric)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Main update: the preset screen's preview shows the whole height of the world, terrain above the world top in magenta; structure sets by name.
ReTerraForged 0.0.19 for Minecraft 26.2 (NeoForge and Fabric). Requires Java 25. A fork of ReTerraForged (racoonman2 / TerraForged), LGPL-3.0-only.
What's new in 0.0.19:
- The preset screen's preview shows the whole height of the world (#12). The land was shaded from sea level to y 256 whatever the world height, so with a higher world (for example 512) every mountain above y 256 had the same colour. The shading now goes up to the world's top, and terrain above the top, which is cut flat there in the world, is drawn in magenta in every preview mode.
- Structures page: structure sets by name ("Ruined Portals" instead of
minecraft:ruined_portals), in all 11 languages. Structure sets of other mods are shown as words with the mod's id.
The world generation is the same as in 0.0.18: worlds look exactly the same.
Tested: real NeoForge 26.2.0.90 and Fabric 0.19.5 + Fabric API 0.161.0 servers on every version (the Default world with the same terrain as 0.0.18, NeoForge and Fabric generate the same world), the preview at world height 512, and on 1.21.1 and 26.3 a new world made through the screens with mouse clicks in Russian. Everything in 0.0.18 (rock strata with Quark's stones, the ocean depth and mountain scale fixes) is included.
Known issues: changing the strata settings of an existing world (by replacing its preset datapack) changes the strata of new chunks, so cliffs may show a seam at the border of the old ones. Worlds made with fork versions before 0.0.11 used the 1.21.1 port's generation; their new chunks now follow 0.0.6 and may show a seam at the border. Extreme sea levels (see the tooltip). With William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld its forests grow its own trees instead of the ReTerraForged ones; on Fabric it needs Fabric Loader 0.18.5 or newer. Report problems at https://github.com/Vladeezyy/reterraforged/issues.
Singleplayer: Create World → World tab → Customize → pick a preset → Done (without this the world will be vanilla). The "experimental settings" warning is normal, press Proceed.
Server: put the jar into mods/, and for a new world the preset datapack reterraforged-preset-26.2.zip (from this release) into world/datapacks/ before the first start.
