Factions
- Just like Affinities, the factions system has config-driven definitions with display name, icon, color, allied god, tier thresholds/names, ally/enemy relationships, unlock level, and per-tier title mappings.
- This new system is able to handle rep gain/loss, pledge boosts, opposing faction losses, mortal enemy multipliers, god to faction spillover, and pledging/unpledging with penalties.
- Factions on-join sync and first-join selection prompt allows players to choose a faction from the upcoming Races Addon; this chains into class selection after a faction is chosen.
Classes
- Config-driven class and subclass definitions have global settings; per-subclass settings are all of the above plus a few more, such as item, stats and repeat selection.
Event System Overhaul
New Features:
- Added the Event Menu which shows the active event information, description, date, range, event-specific currency balance, and upcoming events when no event is active.
- Added the Event Shop. Browse and purchase event items with a rendered 3D NPC model and idle animation.
Balance Changes:
- Removed Raw Anima; and added moss blocks, flower pots and bee nests to the Vireldan trade pool.
- Removed Ender Pearl and Raw Anima; and added sweet berries, white wool, and spruce logs to the Glacis trade pool.
- Removed Totem of Undying, Ender Eye, Enchanted Book, and Raw Anima; and added cobwebs, carved pumpkins, mushrooms, black concrete and dead bushes to the Night of the Veil trade pool.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed Night of the Veil incorrectly rewarding Candy Canes instead of Spooky Tokens as event currency.
General:
- Removed invasive event modifiers: mob strength buffs, phantom spawn rate increases, crop growth multiplier changes, XP multiplier, and daily gift drops.
- Replaced with cosmetic-only ambient effects: cherry blossom sounds (Vireldan), amethyst chime sounds (Glacis), soul sand valley ambient (Veil).
