What's new
RespawnChoices 1.1.0 Changelog
FTB Teams Integration
- Added respawning near online members of the same FTB Teams party.
- Added an inline party-member list to the death screen.
- Added player heads, distance sorting, dimension indicators, availability status, selection highlighting, scrolling, and a Refresh button.
- Added server-side validation of party membership, target availability, and respawn requests.
Respawn Location Search
- Added adaptive searching for Nearby and Party Member respawns.
- Searches progressively reduce horizontal distance and increase vertical range when no suitable spot is found.
- Searches use loaded chunks, stop at the first safe candidate, and have a short processing budget.
- Safe candidates are checked for footing, headroom, collisions, hazards, fluids, world borders, and Nether-roof restrictions.
- If all search passes fail, the final fallback is the recorded death location instead of the normal spawn point. This final fallback may still contain hazards.
Configurable Cooldowns
- Added separate per-player cooldowns for Nearby and Party Member respawns.
- Both cooldowns default to 0 seconds, meaning disabled.
- Cooldowns start after successful uses and persist across deaths, reconnects, and normal server restarts.
- Added remaining-time displays to the respawn buttons.
- Normal Spawn Point respawning remains available during cooldowns.
- Added admin commands requiring OP level 2:
/respawnchoices cooldown/respawnchoices cooldown nearby <seconds>/respawnchoices cooldown teammate <seconds>/respawnchoices cooldown party <seconds>/respawnchoices cooldown both <seconds>
- Command changes apply immediately and save to the world configuration.
- Setting a cooldown to
0disables it.
Compatibility
- Preserved original inventory behavior, XP settings, and Keep Inventory support.
- FTB Teams remains optional.
- Updated the network protocol to version 5; clients and servers must use the updated build.
