Resource Pack Organizer overhauls the Resource Pack screen to give you finer control and a couple new quality-of-life features. It supports the Forge and Fabric mod loaders.
- Organize resource pack into folders that you can navigate from within the game
- Choose between folder view (navigate in and out of folders) and flat view (packs from all folders shown in a single list)
- Search pack names and description (supports the * wildcard)
- Sort packs and folders alphabetically A-Z or Z-A
- Option to display a list of active packs on your screen (configurable position and color; Forge only)
- Hold Alt when clicking 'Resource Packs...' button to show the vanilla screen instead (it will still show packs from all folders like with flat view)
- Stop Minecraft from removing incompatible packs after each restart

Hi there, just update an issue here: https://github.com/chylex/Resource-Pack-Organizer/issues/31
wish you could fix this and release an updated 1.12.2 version, cause this is important to me ;)
best regards
correct me if im wrong, but the fabric version supports from 1.15.2 to the latest snapshots? however, my 1.16.2 game crashes on launch :(
In reply to CornCobDog:
No, it supports from 1.15.2 to 1.16 snapshot. Newer 1.16 versions broke it.
In reply to chylex:
aa ok gotcha. thanks for the quick reply!
Can you do in 1.16.4 forge plz?
In reply to DadaCrafter82:
Haven't looked at .4 yet, but current version of Forge tries to load .3 mods so it might work.
im excited to use this mod once it updates to fabric 1.16.3, it seems perfect for mass pack managment
I'm using the 1.8.9 version and the game crashes on first boot after making any changes to my active resourcepack
