A massive expansion to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, introducing hundreds of magical possibilities, legendary equipment, devastating rituals, and powerful boss-inspired abilities.

From simple elemental projectiles to world-shaking cataclysms, Resonant Arcana brings an entirely new collection of magic to your Minecraft adventures.

• 150 Core Spells across nine schools of magic.
• 12 Additional Boss-Inspired Spells through optional Bosses'Rise integration.
• 3 Legendary Spellbooks with unique magical attributes.

⚔️ Expanded Spellcasting

Discover a wide variety of magical abilities, including:

Spellbooks use the native Iron's inscription system and provide their bonuses when equipped in the Curios spellbook slot.

A creative-only Debug Wand is also available for testing and accessing the complete spell collection.

• 💥 Explosion — A devastating 21-second ritual featuring a crimson diagonal beacon, five magical seals, a synchronized chant, and a colossal explosion.
• 🌑 Doom — Summon a massive void phenomenon, pulling enemies inward before its final destructive collapse.
• ⚔️ Final Judgement — Call down an enormous golden sword to deliver divine judgement.
• ❄️ Eternal Winter — Unleash a massive blizzard with repeated freezing attacks and a devastating final burst.

• 🪽 Seraph Ascendant — Gain temporary flight with radiant magical wings while empowering and healing allies.

Cataclysmic spells feature extended charging sequences, high mana requirements, unique audio, and powerful visual effects.

🎆 Visual & Audio Effects

A large collection of original magical effects brings every school of magic to life.

• Themed particle trails, beams, explosions, and magical constructs.
• Large ritual seals beneath the caster.
• Spiraling particles gathering from above during powerful spells.
• Custom impact effects, area indicators, and animated magical structures.
• Unique charging, release, and impact sounds.
• Enhanced visual effects using native Minecraft and Iron's particles.
• Selective optional AAAParticles integration for enhanced rituals.
• Dedicated synchronized chant and explosion audio for Explosion.

Visual effects are subject to configurable performance limits to help manage large-scale battles.

🐉 Optional Bosses'Rise Integration

Installing Bosses'Rise 2.1.2 unlocks 12 additional boss-inspired spells.

These abilities use visual elements from the installed Bosses'Rise mod while integrating with Resonant Arcana's spellcasting, damage, cooldown, and targeting systems.

Bosses'Rise is completely optional. All core content remains available without it.

🔄 Important Changes for Returning Players

The original ten school-specific wands have been retired in favor of regular Iron's spellbooks, three legendary spellbooks, and the creative-only Debug Wand.

Existing spell IDs are preserved, but retired wand items are not automatically converted.

Players upgrading from versions before the 0.13 registry namespace change should also note that older items and spellbook entries are not automatically migrated to the current resonant_arcana identifiers.

Back up existing worlds before upgrading from significantly older releases.

Install the same version of Resonant Arcana on both the client and server.

🛠️ Testing & Compatibility

The current build has passed over 10,000 dedicated-server checks, covering spell registration, mana usage, casting, cancellation, targeting, equipment bonuses, and cleanup.

In-game visual effects, audio balance, and interactions with other combat mods may still require additional testing.
