Remembrance — an analog-horror slow-burn mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge 47.x).
The world begins to change. Something is watching. It wants to be you.
A slow-burn horror experience. Nothing happens all at once — the corruption creeps in over an hour, and by the time you notice something is wrong, it is already too late.
Features

World corruption in three stages: redstone torches appearing in your home at night, blocks quietly changing, white HUD messages, escalating threat levels (none → mild → vague → evident), darkness creeping in, and a final confrontation with a jumpscare.

The Alternate: a tall, wrong-shaped figure that stalks you from the treeline. It freezes like a statue whenever you look at it — but look away too long and it hunts you. When it is near, the music changes to a slow, nostalgic lullaby played wrong.

Original sound design: whispers, static bursts, ambient drones, a jumpscare sting, a gunshot, and an original "Sweden-inspired" lullaby (an original composition — C418's Sweden is not used).

The Shotgun: craftable from iron, planks, and gunpowder. Hit-scan with six pellets, gunpowder ammo, cooldown. Your only real defense.

The Replica: while you build your base, something has been building one just like it nearby — a copy of up to 150 of your placed blocks.

Multiplayer: the mod has server-side components, so install it on both client and server.
Tuning
The mod config lets you adjust pacing — corruption speed, threat timings, and volumes. A corruptionPerSecond of 0.06 gives a fast ~20-minute session; the default is a slow ~100-minute burn.
License
MIT. The lullaby is an original composition.
