Relics & Artifacts - Version 1.0.6
Prepared on October 3, 2026.
1.0.6 is a maintenance update focused on clearer item text, more language support, and a handful of bugs found while checking the different Minecraft ports. The aim was to keep the mod familiar: the same items, the same progression, and the same content, with fewer things getting in the way.
More languages, including the text that used to stay in English
Turkish, German, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese have been added alongside English. This covers item names, descriptions, cooldown messages, teleport warnings, and the Traveler's Ring's level and experience display.
Text that was previously written directly into the item code now uses translation keys. Messages with changing values, such as a remaining cooldown or the next speed bonus, use placeholders so the whole message can be translated properly. The keys and placeholder counts were checked across all six languages. Depending on the port, each language has 80 or 82 keys; the count is consistent within that port.
Some copied descriptions and English wording were also corrected to match what the items actually do. These are text changes, not changes to the effects themselves. The translations have not had a separate review by native speakers.
Traveler's Ring: safer saved data and a readable progress bar
Invalid saved levels and negative experience values are now handled safely. Levels are kept within the ring's supported range of 1 to 10, and the experience bar cannot ask for a negative number of characters or grow beyond its intended width. This prevents damaged or edited item data from breaking the tooltip.
Normal progression was kept intact. The checks cover the existing experience threshold, leveling up, the speed bonus, and maximum-level behavior, as well as 56 combinations of malformed level and experience data per checked project.
The Forge 1.19.4 port also had damaged text encoding in the experience bar. Its filled and empty segments now use the intended block characters rather than the garbled text shown in the first test. The corrected characters were checked inside the final JAR.
Small item and compatibility fixes
The Chrono Watch now sends its break notification for the correct hand when used from the offhand.
Fabric's item-drop mixins were adjusted for the different method signatures used by the supported Minecraft versions. On versions where the mixin performs the drop itself, it now cancels the original call to avoid performing the same drop twice. Related respawn and identifier API calls were updated where the game had changed them.
The obfuscated Fabric 1.21.x builds include their production mixin refmaps. Resource and data pack metadata was corrected for the individual Minecraft versions, including the supported-format field required by some of the newer 1.21.x releases.
Forge 1.19.2's published baseline used a context-taking mod constructor that older loaders did not call. A compatible no-argument entry point was added, delegating to the existing constructor so registration still follows the original code.
Models and textures
Missing Fabric model files caused items to appear with broken textures in the first client test. The original model files were recovered from the 1.0.5 releases and included in the corrected builds. The texture files themselves did not need to be redesigned.
The release assembly now checks that every original non-language asset from those baseline JARs is present and byte-for-byte unchanged. This catches missing models and textures before a package is delivered. The corrected Fabric 1.21.8 client started without the previous missing-model warnings.
Forge 26.3 has been added
The new Forge 26.3 port is included in this complete folder, rather than sitting in a separate extra-download folder. It was built against Forge 66.0.2 with Java 25.
The Wind Charm's hand-animation call was updated for the new game API. Structure processors now use the block identifier format expected by 26.3. Loot tables now explicitly identify uniform number providers; their original minimum and maximum values were kept. These changes resolve the registry-loading errors that prevented a world from opening.
The corrected port passed a development-server world-loading and shutdown check. Its client also loaded a single-player world and saved it on exit. A separate production-installation test of the packaged Forge 26.3 JAR has not been performed.
Quilt 26.3
Quilt uses the Fabric 26.3 mod JAR from this folder. There is no separate Quilt JAR to install.
The test used Quilt Loader 0.31.0-beta.4 and Fabric API 0.160.6+26.3. The initial launch failures came from missing loader libraries and a missing Fabric API file in the test setup. Once those were added, Quilt loaded the mod and opened a world. This confirms that particular setup; it is not a claim about every Quilt Loader version.
Included builds
This folder contains 25 mod JARs:
| Loader | Minecraft versions | Files |
|---|---|---|
| Fabric | 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, 26.3 | 12 |
| NeoForge | 1.21.1, 1.21.8, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, 26.3 | 7 |
| Forge | 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.3 | 6 |
| Quilt | 26.3, using the Fabric 26.3 file | Shared file |
The original download list was used to prioritize the ports. Files with 100 downloads or fewer were left out, while Minecraft versions covered by a more popular multi-version release were kept. Forge 1.20.1 was included because its download count was not provided. Forge 26.3 was added later at your request.
What was checked
All 25 builds compiled. The original 24 targets passed dedicated-server startup and shutdown checks; Forge 26.3 passed the additional development-server check described above. For the original Forge and NeoForge targets, those server checks used the packaged JARs. Fabric server checks used development environments.
Client sessions were opened for the selected manual test groups and for the 26.3 loaders. Those sessions exposed the model, text-encoding, and Forge 26.3 data-format issues described above. The logs confirm that the corrected Fabric 1.21.8, Forge 26.3, and Quilt 26.3 setups loaded successfully. This was not an exhaustive test of every item, every multiplayer situation, or every existing world on every version.
Language keys, placeholder counts, version metadata, Fabric refmaps, preserved assets, and final JAR hashes were also checked. The evidence is included under Verification, and the SHA-256 values are in Jars/manifest.json.
About the included sources
Some older ports were only available as partial source archives. For those ten projects, the changed item methods are compiled and merged into the original 1.0.5 JAR. The unchanged classes, constructors, event handlers, registrations, and other content are preserved from that baseline. The necessary baseline JARs are included so this process can be reproduced.
Those projects are not complete recovered source repositories for every class. The other fifteen projects contain full source builds. The build instructions explain the difference and include the merger code used to assemble the final files.
There are no new items, recipe changes, or intentional balance changes in this update. The changes to 26.3 structure and loot files update their format while keeping the existing content and ranges.
