🍭 Reencountering in Candy World

A continuation of Candy World by ochotonida (1.12) and Mrbysco (1.16 & 1.17) for modern Minecraft versions. It brings back the iconic candy-filled biomes, delightful mobs, and delicious tools, all about that sweet taste of nostalgia and discovery. Embark on a journey to rediscover a world made of confectionery wonders!

🌌 The Candy Dimension (WIP)

Venture into a dedicated dimension overflowing with sweets! While many features can be found rarely in the Overworld, the Candy World is where the true adventure begins.

Teleporter: Craft and eat a Magic Piece of Candy to teleport to this sugary realm. Don't worry, the item isn't consumed upon use, ensuring you always have a way back home. (Pro Tip: Use JEI for recipes!)
Renewable: More Magic Candy can be found generating underground within the dimension itself.

⚒️ Edible Tools & Crafting

Why just use tools when you can eat them too? Two new material types: Chocolate and Cotton Candy.

Edible Tools: Simply sneak and right-click while holding any tool to take a bite! The amount of hunger restored depends on the tool's material and its remaining durability.
New Craft Tables: For your convenience, custom crafting tables generate within the dimension, so you can craft on the go without bringing your own.

🍬 Biomes

Discover three incredibly sweet, but rare, biomes in the Overworld. For a guaranteed encounter, journey to the Candy World dimension! Now we are using TerraBlender to bring these delicious biomes to the Overworld!

Cotton Candy Plains

A fluffy landscape where cotton candy grows like grass.

Blocks: The ground is made of Brownies, and the trees have trunks of Candy Cane. A pickaxe is recommended for harvesting these sweet trees.
Resources: An abundant source of Cotton Candy.

Chocolate Forest

A rich and decadent forest where chocolate flows like water.

Blocks: Find Milk, White, and Dark Chocolate blocks alongside Wafer Sticks.
Ores: Cookie Ore generates in abundance here, and can also be found in the other biomes.

Gummy Swamp

The most vibrant and colorful biome, with a terrain made of five different types of chewy Gummy blocks.

Blocks: Look for giant Gummy Worms that commonly spawn here.

🐾 Mobs

Meet the adorable (and edible?) inhabitants of the sweet biomes.

Candy Cotton Sheep

Found grazing in the Cotton Candy Plains.

Behavior: Looks like a regular sheep, but its wool is made of Cotton Candy!
Harvest: Use a stick to sheer them. They regrow their fluff by eating Cotton Candy Grass or when fed bone meal.
Breeding: Breed them with Sugar.

Easter Chicken

Native to the Chocolate Forest.

Behavior: Lays three types of chocolate eggs: Milk, White, and Dark!
Acceleration: Feeding them chocolate will make them lay eggs faster.
Breeding: Breed them with Wafer Sticks.

Gummy Mice & Gummy Bears

Inhabitants of the Gummy Swamp.

Mice: Skittish little creatures that will flee if players get too close!
Bears: Rarer than the mice, and come in the five classic gummy colors found in the swamp.
Behavior: Both add life and color to the vibrant swamp.

Q: Can I include this mod in a modpack?
A: Yes! But please note alpha and beta versions are unstable and not production-ready, do not use them for saves or servers you would like to put lots of effort into.

Q: Fabric version?
A: Yes, It's planned, after NeoForge version is more stable.

Q: Older Minecraft version support? (1.20.x, 1.19.x, etc.)
A: Maybe.
