Reel Mayhem is a chaotic, How to Fish-inspired fishing overhaul with 55 new fish, fish-themed guns, leaping fish you can shoot out of the air, lava fishing, 30 seafood dishes and a Scalite ore economy for buying gear and upgrades.

Description
Reel Mayhem turns Minecraft fishing into a full gameplay loop. 
Fish: 55 new species across 6 rarities, each tied to a habitat (ocean, reefs, rivers, swamps, caves, Nether lava or the End). Some bite only at certain times or in certain weather, and every catch rolls a size up to Trophy.
Rods: 6 tiered rods unlock rarer fish, and the Magma and Leviathan rods fish in lava.
Leaping fish: fish jump out of the water while you fish, and you can shoot them down for a bonus catch.
Weapons: the Flounder Flintlock, Sea Scatter shotgun, Harpoon Gun, Minnow Launcher, Fishing Dynamite and the Swordfish Blade.
Economy: sell fish at the Tackle Shop for Scalite, a new ore. Spend it on gear and 7 permanent upgrades.
Collecting: the Fishing Journal tracks every species, 30 seafood dishes give food and effects, and 14 advancements reward progress.
Assets: every model, texture and sound is original.
