Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Any player or soldier can take the village. Three things are needed: a war with its faction (announced on screen G), a defeated garrison, and 10 seconds near the bell without any defenders nearby. The panel shows “Capture X: n%”. Upon capture, the village loses its buildings, warehouses, and one level, and the remaining fighters go to the new owner.
Your village. It has its own garrison (2 fighters and +1 per level); it appears when you are nearby. Right‑clicking the bell opens the village screen; Shift + Right‑click simply rings the bell. In the screen:
Warehouses: wood, stone, iron, and gunpowder. The “Submit” button takes the appropriate item from the inventory. The village also automatically brings in resources each round (default 10 minutes).
Levels: 3 levels. Only the leader can build and upgrade; any faction member can submit and retrieve products.
Buildings:
workshop (level 1) makes a battering ram, a catapult, and an onager;
The armory (level 2) produces muskets, cartridges, and cannonballs;
the foundry (level 3, requires the armory and an artilleryman in the faction) produces cannons and mortars.
Production:
For each building, a product is selected, and resources are spent on the party once per round. The finished product is collected using the “Collect Product” button.
Defense. Bots fighting against your faction send raids on your villages, but only as long as there is a player nearby, so the village won’t disappear without you. The raidsOnPlayers setting is disabled.
