Recon
Recon is a client-side mod for Fabric that automatically keeps a scout on all players you battle in Minecraft. It stores information on how an opponent fights and gives you a game summary. Recon is primarily for players that do a lot of 1v1 and FFA PvP and builds a way to analyze fights instead of just remembering the outcome. The mod does not alter your gameplay. There is no server communication and it does not use any kind of automation.
Bugs can happen as the mod is still in development. To report a bug, contact Libapvp on the Minecraft Discord.
Notebook
Recon automatically determines the outcome of a fight and stores the summary. The mod can determine details of an opponent's fighting style such as crits and hits. It stores this information and gives a summary. The notebook can store information of hundreds of players.
Reminder
When a player that you have a game summary of appears on your screen, a card with the summary is displayed. The card is also displayed when a duel begins.
The notebook (key J)
Includes everything you could want to know about an opponent. From their skin to their stats to their fight history to their win rate to their loadouts to the servers they filter on.
Allows you to search by name, note text, tag, server, and suspension status
Allows you to input notes and tags other players
Allows you to export your notebook

Suspicious-Behavior Recognition
Recon can flag suspicious player actions including use of enhanced reach, perfect jump resets, and shield reactions, and player lag.
Decoys can give important clues. Recon will automatically raise a flag for things that seem suspicious, such as players reaching past the normal attack range, using triggerbot, near perfect jump resets, perfectly shield bashing, lag switching, and various other things.
Flags are raised based on the information your client sends. Something that tripg a flag in Recon doesn't necessarily mean that a player is using a hack. In fact, a real player could be flagged under Recon and a hack user could be missed. Always look into things further. A flag should not be used to incriminate or to clear a player. Recon provides information about flags in the settings tab.
Set up
-
Install Fabric API and Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.2.
-
Install Yet Another Config Lib (It's Required
-
Place Recon in your mods folder
Upon joining a new server, fight once to set up things, and type in the command “/rc chatlog” to view the server messages. Copy the message that the server sends when it detects a win/loss. In the settings, set up Recon to capture messages that the server sends when it detects a win/loss. To view commands and settings, type in commands that begin with "/recon".
Privacy
All recon work is done on your computer. Recon makes two kinds of network requests, the first is to Modrinth to check for updates (which you can disable) and the second are experimental MCTier requests (which are disabled by default and could change at any time). Neither of these requests send or receive any information about you personally.
Good to know
Because it is entirely client-side, you do not need to worry about server compatibility. However, some servers may have rules against client mods, so you should check your server's rules before using this mod.
You can change the settings by either using the Mod Menu or by using the command /rc config.
