# Recipe Lens

**A clean, fast recipe viewer for Minecraft 26.3 + Forge.** See every item in the game, how to make it, where to find it, and what it's used for, right next to your inventory.

## Features

### 📦 Item list
- Every item in the game, including all potions, enchanted books and modded items.
- Shows next to any inventory: your own, chests, crafting tables and furnaces.
- Shrinks to fit when the recipe book is open instead of disappearing.

### 🔍 Search
- `iron sword` finds items with both words.
- `@modid` shows one mod's items.
- `#logs` searches by tag.
- `-word` leaves things out (`sword -diamond`).

### 📖 One screen for everything about an item
Click any item to see tabs for:
- **Make**: crafting recipes
- **Smelt**: furnace, blast furnace and smoker recipes
- **Get**: mob drops, chest loot, villager trades, Trial Chambers, fishing, bartering, cat gifts and more
- **Use**: what it's used in, fuel, food, compost, enchantments, and how to use right-click items

Click any ingredient to jump to it. Back or Esc goes back.

### ⚡ One-click crafting
Press **+** to craft straight into your inventory. Recipe Lens makes the parts first, like logs → planks → crafting table. If you're missing something, it shows in red in the crafting grid. Click the red slot to see how to make it.

### 🛠️ "What can I craft?"
One button shows only the items you can make right now with what's in your inventory.

### ⭐ Bookmarks and history
- **Right-click** any item to bookmark it.
- Items you looked up recently show at the bottom of the list.

### 🧪 Brewing and trading
Brewing stand recipes, plus every villager and wandering trader trade.

### 🎨 Creative cheat mode
Click an item to get it: left-click for a stack, right-click for one.

### ⚙️ Settings
Open settings from the gear next to the search box, the pause menu, or Mods → Config. Keys can be changed in Options → Controls.

## Multiplayer
**Install Recipe Lens on the server too.** Players without it can still join, but recipes, trades and crafting need the mod on the server.

## For mod authors
Recipe Lens finds every recipe automatically. To control exactly how your machine's recipes look, use the small plugin API. See the README on the source page.
