Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Everything since 0.6.3
Backpacks
New Backpack: sewn at the Tailor Table from 2 Compartments (3 leather each) and 2 leather strips. 18 slots in two compartments.
New Back slot in the clothing screen (G). A worn backpack can't be opened; take it off and hold it, or put it down.
Backpacks can be put down: hold one, sneak and use it on solid ground. Open it there with right-click; sneak with an empty hand to pick it back up. Breaking it drops it with everything inside.
Backpack Strap (2 leather strips + 2 iron rings): sewn onto a backpack, it holds 2 tools. Pockets can be sewn onto backpacks like on leather armor.
Sophisticated Backpacks and Traveler's Backpack (NeoForge): their backpacks go in the Back slot, and every tier gets 18 slots by default (config: sophisticatedBackpackSlots, travelersBackpackSlots; 0 leaves their config alone). A Traveler's Backpack worn through its own system is moved to the Back slot.
Backpacks can no longer be equipped in Curios or Accessories slots while the mod is active.
Clothes
New clothes: Thin Shirt, Thin Trousers and Waxed Poncho (6 cloth + 2 honeycomb at the tailor table). The poncho has no pockets and, with its open sides, does not lock the shirt pockets under it in Realistic mode.
Screens
New settings screen (P): turn the HUD changes, the workstation screen style and the moved temperature icons on or off for yourself, and change the world mode (operators or the singleplayer owner, with a warning). Pocket, slot and pickup settings stay in the config file. P is shared with Social Interactions by default; rebind either in Controls if needed.
Curios, Accessories and Trinkets buttons in the clothing screen (G). The Curios G key no longer clashes with the clothing screen.
Mod support
Thirst Was Taken: thirst and quenched are shown as a new column next to the hunger column at the bottom-right, and its bar above the hotbar is hidden.
Legendary Survival Overhaul: worn clothing gives cold and heat resistance. Its thirst is shown in the bottom-right column, its temperature and wetness icons move next to the bars, and its duplicate health and thirst bars are hidden.
