Realistic Fauna

Realistic Fauna is a Minecraft mod that enhances the Overworld by introducing a variety of lifelike animal species, bringing a more immersive and natural ecosystem to the game. Currently in beta, the mod adds creatures such as deer, bears, and elk. The animals have been designed with behaviors inspired by real-world wildlife.

As you explore forests, plains, and mountainous regions, you may encounter herds of deer grazing cautiously, elk roaming in groups, or solitary bears wandering through the wilderness. Each animal features realistic sound design and behavioral patterns, meaning they may react to players differently depending on distance, movement, or time of day. This encourages a more thoughtful approach to exploration and survival.

As the mod is currently in beta, features are still being expanded and refined. Future updates may include additional species, expanded AI behaviors, and deeper interactions with Minecraft’s ecosystems. Feedback and bug reports are highly appreciated to help shape the development of the mod.
