ver 1.6.0 – Iridium Update

New Features

  • Added Iridium Tools.
    • These tools support exclusive enchantments (see below for details).
  • Added Platinum and Pink Gold Tools.
    • Platinum tools can be upgraded into Iridium Tools using a Smithing Table.
  • Added two new villager professions.
    • Scientist: Trades various reagents. Job site block: Draft Chamber.
    • Geologist: Trades ores and exploration-related items. At Master level, they offer Iridium Upgrade Templates. Job site block: Analyzer.
  • Added Compasses and maps for exploration.
    • Compasses can locate underground biomes of the Paleogene dimension. Can be obtained by crafting.
    • Maps can locate Volcano biomes and the Crater in the Paleogene dimension. Can be obtained by trading with a Geologist.
  • Added Platinum and Iridium Storage Boxes.
    • Similar to the Nylon Bag, they can store and transport items.
Iridium Tool Exclusive Enchantments

Armor Enchantment

  • Poison Resistance: Reduces debuff duration. Effects stack per armor piece.

Tool Enchantments

  • Big Mining: Mines an area of 3×3×3 (Level 1) or 5×5×5 (Level 2) at once. Useful for digging stone, dirt, and large tunnels.
  • Vein Mining: Chains mining of connected identical blocks. At Level 4, up to 256 blocks can be mined in a single chain. Ideal for ore veins and logs.

Sword Enchantments

  • Iridium swords apply Slowness to targets by default.
  • Crystalized: Enemies have a chance to drop crystals upon defeat.
  • Last Stand: Attack power increases as HP decreases. The effect starts below 75% HP, reaching up to 5.5× damage at Level 3 when HP is below 20%.

Technical Changes

  • Updated the NBT tag structure for storage items.
    • Item contents will be preserved automatically, but creating a world backup before updating is recommended. 
  • Fixed bugs around storage items that allowed items to multiply.
