Random Drops+
Ported for Java :)
Written and coded by HumanlyInfinite
Break any block and get a random item instead of the normal drop. Any block can give you anything - you never know what you will get!
Dig dirt, get a rabbit's foot. Mine stone, get an elytra. It is completely random every single time.
What it does
- Break any block and receive one random item from a pool of over 1,500 items instead of the block's normal drop.
- The block type makes no difference at all. Dirt, stone, obsidian and bedrock are all equally likely to hand you a netherite block or a stack of wool.
- Every break also plays the vanilla experience orb pickup sound, so mining feels rewarding.
- Works out of the box. No configuration, no commands, no setup.
Features
- Completely random drops - the block you break is never used to decide what you get.
- Over 1,500 possible items drawn from the whole game, including rare trophies like elytra, netherite and bedrock. Bedrock is a genuine ultra-rare drop.
- Rarity tiers - most items are common, a set of valuable items is rare, and a few trophies are ultra rare.
- Experience orb sound on every break, with natural pitch variation so a run of blocks sounds like collecting a stream of orbs.
- No technical items - command blocks, barriers, light blocks, structure blocks and spawn eggs are all excluded.
- Respects your game rules - drops follow the
doBlockDropssetting, exactly like vanilla. - Only player breaks - explosions, pistons and mobs are untouched.

A note on balance
This mod is meant for fun and chaos, not for a balanced survival run. It makes resources easy to get, because a single block can hand you something you would normally spend hours grinding for. That is the whole point - but it will change how your world plays, so start a new world or back up an existing one first.
