What's new
Changelog v1.1
Added
- Added Seed-Based mode, where blocks drop the same randomized item each time within a world. Different seeds can produce different drops.
- Added Off mode, which disables randomization and restores vanilla drops.
- Added rare Randium Ingot drops in Seed-Based mode:
- Blocks have a 1 in 4,000 chance to drop an extra ingot.
- Eligible mob kills have their own 1 in 4,000 chance.
- Both chances can be changed in the config.
- Added a blacklist for items that shouldn't appear in random drops.
- Added a whitelist for blocks that should keep their normal drops.
- Added support for tags in the config lists, such as
#minecraft:logs. - Added significantly improved debug logging for randomized block drops.
Changes
- Randium Ingots no longer appear in the normal drop pool in Seed-Based mode. They can only be obtained through the rare-drop chances. Full Random mode is unchanged.
- Boosted and Randium tools only get their bonus quantities when used on blocks suited to that tool. Blocks that don't require a specific tool, like flowers and sugar cane, still count.
- Improved cascading block tracking to cover blocks attached to the sides of the broken block, including wall signs, torches, buttons, levers, and ladders.
Bugs Fixes
- Fixed bare-hand mob kills not triggering randomized drops when enabled in the config.
- Fixed dead coral plants and fans not receiving randomized drops.
- Fixed a potential duplicate-drop issue involving air blocks and multi-part blocks, such as pitcher plants.
Known Issues / Limitations
- TNT and other explosion drops are still vanilla.
- Boats aren't affected by the randomizer and drop normally. This is an intentional feature.
- Some blocks that break after logging out, such as upper bamboo stalks, may drop vanilla items instead.
- Nearby block updates, such as leaf decay, may occasionally be attributed to a neighboring block recently broken by a player.
