Rain Limiter
Rain Limiter is a lightweight server-side NeoForge mod that gives server owners more control over Minecraft weather without completely disabling it.
Instead of allowing rain and thunderstorms to continue for long periods, Rain Limiter lets you define the maximum duration of rain, the maximum duration of thunderstorms, and the minimum amount of clear weather required before bad weather can return.
This makes it ideal for multiplayer servers, modpacks, building servers, roleplay servers, or anyone who finds Minecraft's weather a little too frequent.
Features
- Set a maximum duration for normal rain.
- Set a separate maximum duration for thunderstorms.
- Set a minimum clear-weather period between storms.
- Change all timings while the server is running.
- Settings are saved and remain after server restarts.
- Lightweight and designed for minimal performance impact.
- Server-side only — players do not need to install the mod themselves.
- Operator-only configuration commands.
- Supports seconds, minutes, and hours.
