What's new
Auto-Stop ramps
Two new variants: Ascending (Auto-Stop) and Descending (Auto-Stop). They watch the ground in front of them and stop themselves instead of running the full 64 blocks.
- The climbing one ends once it has actually broken through out the far side of the hill, or into a real cavern rather than burrowing on through the peak.
- The diving one stops at sea level, or as soon as the way ahead changes: tunnel into open cave, or open air onto solid ground.
Both always cut at least 8 blocks first, so lighting one inside a cave or a base works the way you would expect.
Craft either as the plain ramp plus an observer.
Pylons follow the ground better
Support pylons are now placed from where the corridor actually leaves the hillside, rather than on a fixed count from the start. The first lands 16 blocks past the tunnel mouth, then every 32 (it was every 64). Long viaducts get noticeably fewer gaps under them.
Also
- The carve reads the terrain ahead before cutting each slice, which is what makes the Auto-Stop ramps possible.
- Each file now refuses to load on a Minecraft version it was never tested on, rather than loading and half-working. Pick the file matching your version.
