Don't you hate it, that the only thing rails are good for is to put slow and old carts on top of them? Or when you accidently push that cart on powered rails and it drives off to the infinity and beyond, with no way of catching up? Well, nothing much will change. But now you can use these rails for your own survival and mobility, screw carts!

This mods adds 2 new items into the game, both of which gives you movement buffs while running on or near any type of vanila rails!

Rail Boots and Rail Leggings are crafted by combining golden boots/leggings with redstone, iron ingot, diamond and netherite (Position of placed items in the crafting table doesn't matter).

Rail Boots give you a movement boost, while Leggings give you a jump boost instead. Both of the items also give you a small health regeneration buff.

The items can also be found in the dedicated creative tab, handy!

This mod is just a personal project I worked on to understand how to mod Minecraft. I also took inspiration off the game called Valley, which also showed an increased speed, if one was running on the rails.

Also, this mod is in early alpha (0.0.1), and if in the future I will update this mod some textures, crafting recipes or whole mechanics of this mod might change along the way.
