Description
RackWorks
Touring concert production gear for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. Build a real show rig: road cases and racks, mixing consoles, 19-inch audio and comms gear, speakers, mics, intercom, in-ear monitors, cabling and power distribution. Then talk into a mic and hear yourself through the speakers you cabled up.
97 items, all modelled to real-world sizes. Everything is in the RackWorks creative tab.
Features
Road cases and racks. 12U rack cases, an 8U shock rack and a wireless mic rack, each with front and rear lids. Install 19-inch units at the height you aim at. They're screwed in, so taking one out needs the Rack Screwdriver. There are also storage trunks, a drawer workbox, a cable trunk and a mic case, and you can stack gear on case lids.
Real signal flow. Mics hear the players in front of them. The signal runs through consoles, the stage box, DSP, compressor, EQ and amplifiers to the speakers, exactly as you cabled it. The EQ, compression and delay really process your voice.
Built-in voice. RackWorks has its own voice engine (Opus over encrypted UDP), so you don't need another voice chat mod.
Consoles. Analogue, compact digital and large digital FOH desks. The digital desks save whole shows to USB drives, 16 per drive.
Speakers. Fly line arrays from a frame, put point-source tops on poles over subs, and place wedges, tripods and cardioid subs, all sized to the block grid.
Comms and in-ears. An intercom station, a wireless base, wearable beltpacks and headsets, and an IEM transmitter with bodypacks. Helical and paddle antennas give real range.
Power. A 20 kVA generator, distros and breaker panels whose breakers trip on overload, a sequencer and a power monitor. Every connector on the models is a real socket.
Cabling. XLR, speakON, etherCON, BNC antenna and power cables run socket to socket along the floor and through cable ramps. Dye cables and USB drives in any of the 16 colours.
Easy on your computer. Big rigs are drawn with the world itself, so they cost little each frame. Slower computers can switch to Medium or Low model detail, which use lighter models and smaller textures but still look good.

Mod settings Mods → RackWorks → Config (model detail, cable detail and distance, worn packs, socket labels)
Multiplayer
The server and every player need the same RackWorks version. Voice runs on UDP port 24455, so open that port on the server's firewall, and forward it for play over the internet. You can change it in config/rackworks-common.toml ([audio] udpPort).
Requirements
Minecraft 1.20.1
