What's new
Race Integration 0.5.0 — Physical Size Bridge
New JJ Races + ArtemisLib integration
- Added an optional bridge that turns JJ Races visual race sizes into real physical dimensions through ArtemisLib.
- The bridge only activates when JJ Races and ArtemisLib are installed. Wizardry Tales is not required for this feature.
- Heights are taken from JJ Races' own internal race selector: Human 1.62, Dwarf 1.12, Elf 1.71, Kull 1.98, Orc 1.80, Grell 1.24 and Vinska 1.55 blocks.
- Default widths are derived from JJ Races' horizontal renderer scaling. Kull uses the larger horizontal renderer axis so the square Minecraft hitbox encloses the model.
- Every target size is configurable.
Wizardry Tales compatibility
- Tales already applies physical ArtemisLib height modifiers to Elf and Dwarf. Race Integration preserves those modifiers and applies only the residual factor required to reach the JJ Races target.
- Dwarf: Tales x0.80; the bridge compensates to exactly 1.12 blocks instead of double-scaling.
- Elf: Tales x1.10; the bridge compensates to exactly 1.71 blocks.
- If the Tales modifier is not active, the target JJ size is applied directly.
Size priority
- Slime keeps its dedicated Race Integration size system (1.50 x 0.50 by default), bounce and gameplay abilities.
- Lich removes previous racial-size bridge modifiers.
- Vampire, Werewolf and Undead do not automatically inherit JJ Human physical sizing; the bridge is limited to the seven actual JJ Races.
Configuration
Added integrations.jj_races_artemis_size, including enable/disable, check interval, and individual height/width values for all seven JJ races.
Preserved from 0.4.0
- Functional Slime profile.
- Optional Ancient Spellcraft integration: Vampire and Werewolf receive x1.50 potency by default.
- Lich integration, localization, persistent race selection, optional dependencies and anti-stacking protections.
Verification
- 36 core assertions.
- 48 v0.4 upgrade assertions.
- 14 new physical-size assertions, including simulated Tales + ArtemisLib + JJ Races combinations.
Isolated compilation and simulation are not a substitute for an in-game Minecraft test. Test on a backup first.
