RASGO 2.0.0 — the full rewrite

Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.4.13 or newer Optional: EMI or JEI, Curios, Patchouli (for the in-game manual).

EN-US

⚠️ Read before updating a world that used RASGO 1.x Version 2 is a complete rewrite. Worlds from 1.x are not converted. RASGO 1.x blocks, and the items stored in a 1.x Core, are lost when the world opens with 2.0. Before updating, take your items out of the old Core into chests, or start a new world. Always back up your world first.

RASGO 2 was rebuilt from scratch, with one crafting engine and one storage system that are tested on their own. It was also tested in a pack with 325 mods.

Storage that never loses items

  • The Core keeps everything, with no slots and no stack limits. Items live in the world save, not in the block.
  • Breaking the Core gives a Charged Core that carries the whole network. Place it anywhere and everything comes back.
  • If another mod moves a Core, the network follows it. A copied Core starts empty, so items are never duplicated.
  • Items from mods you remove are kept, and they come back if you add the mod again.

Autocrafting that plans the whole chain

  • Ask for any item. The Core plans every step from raw materials through crafting, smelting, stonecutting, smithing, brewing, and simple machine recipes from other mods.
  • Before anything is used, the craft screen shows what it will use, what it will make (byproducts included), and exactly what is missing.
  • The craft then happens all at once, or not at all. The plan you see is the plan that runs.
  • It handles compression chains, recipes that keep a tool or template (one stored smithing template is enough for any number of copies), fuel, and recipes that accept any item of a tag.
  • In the 325-mod test pack, 6,613 of 6,625 craftable items plan correctly. The other 12 are correctly reported: they have no recipe of their own, or they need an item with special data.
  • Upgrades unlock each kind of recipe: Autocrafting, Thermal Processing, Cutting, Smithing, Brewing, and Universal Processing. Each upgrade now has its own colour.
  • recipeBlacklist setting: leave out any recipe, recipe type, or whole mod.

A network that reaches anywhere

  • Cables join everything to the Core.
  • Storage Connector: a chest, barrel, drawer, or modded inventory becomes part of the network, with priority and read-only or read-write mode. Tested with Sophisticated Storage and Storage Drawers.
  • Importer and Exporter (Logistics Upgrade) move items with filters. The Exporter also sends items kept in connected chests.
  • Interfaces: full-block versions that work on every side.
  • Wireless Connector: links networks over any distance, even across dimensions, with optional chunk loading.
  • Infinite Cards: water, lava, cobblestone, stone, and other common blocks without limit.

A terminal that is yours

  • A new look made for RASGO: graphite metal, gold details, and soft cyan light that match the blocks.
  • Resize the terminal from its bottom-right corner, and move it by its title. It opens again the way you left it.
  • Search by name, @mod, #tag, $enchantment, *tooltip text, or -word to leave words out. Sort by name, amount, mod, or most recent.
  • Craft tab, and middle-click any item to craft it.
  • Crafting results and network problems appear as pop-up notices in the corner of the screen, even while the terminal is open. A client setting puts them above the hotbar instead.

Wireless Terminal

  • Opens with a key (Right Arrow by default), even from a Curios slot.
  • Magnet: off, to you, or straight into the network.
  • Remote pick block: middle-click a block and the network hands you a stack.

Security

  • Open, private, or password-protected networks.
  • Owner, admins, and users. Passwords are stored as hashes, with a lockout after 5 wrong tries.

Works with your pack

  • EMI and JEI: their craft button opens the RASGO craft screen. Recipe and usage keys work in the terminal, and the terminal search can follow theirs. Type @rasgostorage to see only RASGO's items.
  • Carry On cannot pick up RASGO blocks. Create contraptions and Mekanism cardboard boxes are told not to move them.
  • Works with mods that change items as they are drawn (Apotheosis).
  • In-game manual (Patchouli) in English and Portuguese.

Also

  • New detailed models for every block, made in Blockbench, with animated light. New 32 px item art.
  • Commands: /rasgo networks, /rasgo recover, /rasgo recipes.

PT-BR

Faça sempre backup do mundo antes.

  • O Carry On não consegue pegar blocos do RASGO.

  • Comandos: /rasgo networks, /rasgo recover, /rasgo recipes.
