📖 Overview

QuizCraft is a Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1 mod that integrates English vocabulary learning into survival gameplay. Players encounter quizzes while mining, fighting mobs, fishing, opening chests, crafting, and sleeping. Correct answers earn rewards; wrong answers incur penalties — making vocabulary learning an immersive part of the game.

Supports 18 vocabulary books covering major English proficiency tests including CET-4/6, IELTS, TOEFL, TEM-4/8, and NEEP (Graduate Entrance Exam).

📚 Smart Vocabulary Engine

• 18 Vocabulary Books: CET-4/6, IELTS, TOEFL, TEM-4/8, NEEP, and more
• Smart Word Selection: Prioritizes unmastered and frequently-missed words
• Error Book: Automatically records wrong answers for spaced repetition
• Mastery System: 3 consecutive correct answers = mastered
• Persistent Progress: All learning data saved automatically

⚡ Difficulty & Penalty System

• Streak Bonus: 5+ correct in a row = ×1.5 XP, 10+ = ×2.0 XP
• Boss Battle Buffs/Debuffs: Correct = 60s Strength/Resistance/Regeneration/Speed; Wrong = 60s Weakness/Slowness/Mining Fatigue

🔧 Administration

• Graphical Config Panel: /quizconfig or press M to open visual settings
  • OP players can edit all configuration options
  • Non-OP players can view but not edit (controls are grayed out)
  • Scrollable layout for all settings
  • Dropdown book selection showing all 18 books
• Hot-swap Vocabulary Books: No server restart needed
• Server Broadcasts: Achievement unlocks announced server-wide
• Full Chinese Localization

🚀 Installation

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Fabric Loader ≥ 0.14.21
• Fabric API
• Java ≥ 17

Steps

1. Install Fabric Loader
2. Download Fabric API and place it in the mods folder
3. Download this mod's .jar file and place it in the mods folder
4. Launch the game
